I think communicating and informing council of latest updates as well as getting info from them is important. So I recommend you to get it. Good to raise issues, pay for tickets. Pingit was not working every though I have it installed on my s7 edge. Used it once and will see how it goes.

Just returned to this app to get reminders of our new bin/recycling collections. At this point the calendar does not match the notice we received in the post. Would prefer to be able to configure alerts to choose the sound and time in advance of the event.

It doesn't recognise my postcode! Yes my house was a new build but over 4 years ago!

Sad it no longer works on my tablet. Please make compatible again

You need to changes the times on the app. Bins are not being collected. You say put them out by half past 6 but the guys have already been n gone before then.

Collection service doesn't coincide with the app. More confusing with it than without!?

May aswell use website as this is litteraly a container for that. Not even a mobile version of the site and you can't zoom in or out. Especialy the jobs pages

It's mainly shortcuts to their website. Asks for too many permissions for a simple app (why camera permissions? Contacts permissions?)

Why does it need access to so many permissions

This app is brilliant can find lots of useful information all in one place. Love it!!

Ok you changed recycling days but still get them for Tuesday but it was moved to Friday you need to update this so it's better to remind me of the right day not the wrong day

But the reason I downloaded was for the alerts, yet they don't work.

The bin reminders are really useful and also reporting issues into the council is really quick and straightforward

Very good for bin collection reminder

No option to haver alerts deleted automatically deleted after a certain period of time. Alerts can't be tailored for waste collection when there is a change to the usual schedule or a disruption, so you are constantly reminded every week when waste collection is due. School closures are too slow to come through, the school had contacted me an hour before this app alerted me.

Installed when app first launched but bin reminders did not work, so uninstalled. Decided to give it another try. Bin reminders now work BUT at 7pm the night before collection. All the neighbours have already had their bins out for a couple of hours so it would be easier to just look out of the window!

Bin collection notifications fail frequently, bug also stop after restarting your phone unless you open the app after every restart.

The most useful bit has either been stopped working or they come too late to work as reminders. No later than 6pm the day before would be good.

But it wouldn't remind me. This was the reason for installing, so I can't rate it more than 1

I like being reminded when my bin will be emptied. All I ask is that they actually do empty them (recycling team are poor) the household team are A1.

Useful to know when bins are being emptied

No good at all for elderly people with difficulties. Nearly impossible to get on to the site if you have forgotten your details, which let's face it people of a certain age often do.

It's very handy for bin collection reminders. Few bugs in the app but mostly stable

This part of the app does not app ear to work as no map to locate destination shows

Not show how long this app has been around, never really thought about council investing in something like this, with all the cuts. Informative and easy to use, like the pothole and other reporting features.

This app used to work fine on my HTC but not on the Samsung. Strange
