UCL Go! - Student Edition for Android
The app is useful, no doubt. Online timetables and maps of the campus are particularly good, however, it is currently broken, and will not let you log in to see your timetable, rendering the app nearly useless.
Please, to improve this app, facilitate the download of files from moodle and email attachments. It's annoying to have to come out of the app, open the browser, go to the moodle or outlook websites, log in again, find the page again just to download a single file. Also, when clicking 'show on map' from a timetable entry, it invariably shows the Bloomsbury Cafe, whatever the actual room is meant to be.
Forced to use it this year. Extremely temperamental, seems to just work when it wants which isn't very often. Bring back the old pdf timetables!
Works for me. Very useful to see my timetable
Imperial is better
good
Keeps saying that my username/password is incorrect

Good for quickly finding rooms and accessing your library account. Sometimes more practical to open a browser to access Moodle though.
It would be good to have webmail in it as well.
It logged me out for some reason, tried to log in again but a message appears saying that I have a wrong userid or pass! What's wrong? :/
It is a really good app but it stop working and it doesn't let me login anymore
Keeps saying that my username/password is incorrect
Generally quite a good app. Synchronising calenders and email access would be a good feature
Horrible user interface

I recommend this app to all UCL students! The two best features are the timetable and the library account. Instead of having to view my timetable via portico this app let's me view it quickly making it really easy and convenient to check every morning. It automatically goes to the current week. The library feature is also great, I can renew and reserve books from my phone so quickly and I can also easily search for any resources. The only problem for me is that I cannot open any files from email or moodle..
The app is quite useful, but very utilitarian. Whoever made the interface has zero design skills and little idea of what a proper android GUI should look like
Whenever I try to open a pdf from moodle using adobe reader, it always comes up with an error message....'the document cannot be opened because it is not a valid pdf document'. Please help!
very difficult to search for a location
unconvenient and some functions do not work like timetable
Horrible not useful in any way
Not useful at all
What a great improvement !perfect except incorrect showing my library loans, I hv 3 books on loan, but it shows zero here, it wld be better if the computer room searching can show the up -to-mins room availability
Useful but should improve with a bit more information
Most of the functions don't work
Perfect
Much better after update
This is a great idea for an app. I mean I love the fact that I have all of UCL's services in the palm of my hand. However, it constantly crashes (every time I open the app), it's very slow and most tabs are just hyperlinks to the desktop version of the webpage itself (e.g. email, library, etc.) when they can be mobile versions of the webpage. Also, although it is practical, the structure of the app is quite confusing and seems to just be an exhaustive list of all the services UCL has to offer.
Its a good app for looking up your time table on the move but i cant open any PDFs for my course, they're all corrupted and crash my pdf viewer
Seems to be some great new functionality. Available PC's in clusters room is very useful, as is viewing your course timetable and the two versions of campus maps. Pretty essential and v. useful for UCL students.
All the 1* reviews were a little old, so I gave this a go, and frankly it works perfectly. Fully supported by the ISD as well, which is nice. Only problem being the news stories at the top are annoyingly awkward to scroll through, and it could do with a few more features eg. Ability to reserve and search for books in the library. Useful if only for the timetable feature, though.
Really useful, been using it for almost a year (or more?) no problems with it at all. Runs smoothly on my iPhone and new Samsung note10.1. However I am very annoyed with the requirement for authentication to use moodle, timetable and library loans. I would definitely think auto login will be better as there are times when people will be in a hurry to check timetables etc. Since when u use the app for the first time, it requires identification with ucl email, so I think any identification after first use is unnecessary. Thanks for this great app anyway :)
Would be really good if it didn't crash every time I opened it on my HTC, please fix this!
When it works it is gd, but it often says "UCL Go! Has stopped" and shuts its self down and sometimes seems quite unresponsive when I click
Some great features, especially for first years like myself who are trying to learn the way around. Only downside is that it crashes when I open the app (on HTC) sometimes. Please fix this!
There should be an interactive map showing the location of lecture halls for each lecture
Worked great to begin with: nice features and better than I thought a university app could be (though for the amount they put in to develop it, I wasnt surprised). However, the app hasnt worked on my Galaxy S for the last 6 months, making it next to useless.
Timetable always empty, library loans always come up 0
