Oliver - NYC Apartment Rentals for Android
Good
Really easy to use, great user experience. If you want to find good apartment and not spend your entire budget, use this app. Really helpful.
You get 5 stars all for "popular cities like NYC and Chillicothe" lmao I actually had to Google wth that was and why hadn't I gone there . You totally got me.
It Is excellent
Tried to see two apartments, one owner never showed up and the other cancelled 2 hours beforehand. Overall negative experience
A great app but too few apartments in my price range. With increased adoption this could be really awesome.
Great convenience of scheduling without talking to anyone just not alot of listings
Downloaded it today however it won't send me my pin so I can schedule a viewing
Love it!
Garbage
4-5k for a 1br regardless of where you are in the city? Uninstalled immediately. How disappointing.
I saw a listing on the website, and the only way for me to schedule a showing was through the app. But no where on the app does the listing show up.
This app is awful. They always cancel viewings.
Perfect
A lot of apt, really pricey
Efficient but need to fix some bugs
Great app for local New Yorkers
If i could give 0 stars I would. First off any time I open the app I get told there's no Internet connection, even if I am on wifi. Then because of that I can't even press the search button. And lastly there is no AFFORDABLE apartments on here. For that i use Zillow or Trulia. I may get brokers fees but at least I can find a 2 bedroom for 1600. Deleting asap. (And please people from Oliver don't comment back to me. It would be highly aggravating. )
Besides not knowing how I see the place it sent 3 reminders rather annoyingly while putting my kid to sleep for me to confirm my visit. When I picked the time saying that was the time I wanted. Would be great if that was sent to the realtor to respond to me with confirmation instead.
The database doesn't show anything that anyone making less than 6 figures a year can afford. They send the "apartments for you" emails that are nowhere within my search criteria and at least two times my budget! I had more luck finding a no fee apartment on my own that was under budget and in the area I wanted.
They've got a great idea, but they need to develop it further. For example, it's not very clear how to coordinate between landlords and users. It confirms my showing time, but who do I call or ask for when I get there? Am I supposed to just wait outside of this no-doorman building?
Not even worth one star. I don't see descriptions. They are limited to pricey places. What the heck is 0 bedrooms with a shower?
And I'm not even being stingy!!!! Plus no search in the Bronx. Fail.
This makes no sense they have nothing affordable and have no information on the apt
Amazing customer service
Easy to use
The idea is perfect, the interface is great and so responsive, clean and neat. BUT the listings are for appts with excessively high prices. Didn't find one less than 2000. All of them are studios for 3K, 4K, 9K, appts for 4K, 12K, appts in Jackson Heights for 25000!!!! I can't believe that, I think you should check the listings before posting probably are brokers trying to damage your reputation...
Unfortunately, this is a complete waste of time as they has nothing that was reasonably priced AND they were showing Go No Fee apartments on their site. That's the "affordable housing" and I could have just ventured to their site myself instead of using this app.
Don't waste your time even downloading this app it's garbage it's nothing but high end prices for apartments that no average New Yorker could afford .
So this app will only show you high priced apartments even within the Burroughs! Including the Bronx
Total garbage. They make money off this.
Sucks only high price apartments smh
The app is extremely user-friendly. I had a negative experience with an owner's representative and wrote about it in the app's feedback and within minutes, I received a call from one of Oliver's reps apologizing for the experience and they had removed the listing until it was resolved with the landlord. Great customer service and I will definitely continue to use!
The listing here are for luxury apartments mainly...nothing really within normal price range for the average new yorker. Listing prices are at generic 1br 1600-1800 not the apps fault just poor listing. Hope things change soon.
Don't bother. Better websites out there for no-fee.
Very cool idea, but most properties only have a few photos and no real details
Very useful app- I've found a great apt. For a great price and had fun during!
Difficult to navigate and time-consuming
No more brokers!!! Thank you Oliver!

I have been unable to confirm a single appointment with this app. They just remain pending indefinitely.
