Olive ONE for Android
Used to work ok, now doesn't always connect, can no longer autodetect network. No updates to either app or Olive One in a long time, even though reported bugs still exist.
Crap
The app works on my LG G3, but it could be better. I have to keep the screen on or it freezes, and it frequently loses the connection. It will allow you to control the ONE, but it requires patience. Like the ONE, it's a work in progress with great promise.
Crashes everytime. Olive has a horrible product, Their 4 and 6 models were really good but this new mid-fi product is like a boom box ,they took two years to ship and then made this crap
Need ipv6 support. Better UI. Please support your app!
The app is now working perfectly fine. I have nexus 7, nexus 4 and Samsung galaxy s5 with different versions of android and the app works just gr8.. Thanks for making it work..
It crash or froze when you hit the back button on the main screen. Since I have put more thant 1000 album on my olive, the app want to show the current album playing anymore. Olive should open is api to have a 3rd parties app, web or native, done by real devlopper
I was losing my connection for a while but figured out that you need to add the player to your wifi network. Easy to do in Settings>Networks>wireless and then just find your SSID and enter your password.
This last version works really well. Thanks Olive!
Although it starts up ok the app quickly freezes and worse it often requires me to reboot my phone. Hopefully this will be fixed quickly and is not a reflection on the One itself which is a promising new toy.
Love the interface on olive one but its nice to be able to control also from your phone. Thanks Olive!
No issues yet. 4.4.4
This latest version works perfectly. Good job Olive!

Olive charges hundreds of dollars for their unit boasting that the app can act as a remote control for the console. This is just junk. It crashes my phone every time I open. I even asked olive team before buying the unit, they reassured that it works perfectly. Now it seems like this was by far my worst $600 SPENT. It nothing more than a glorified Bluetooth player which starts to cut off if you are more than 20 feet away. Forget about playing it wirelessly it doesn't even connect
Now works with Lollipop. This app is actually better than the UI on the Olive One, although it still has some quirks - particularly that it can never discover the device on my single-subnet network, and loses its connection every time my Nexus sleeps, so I have to re-enter the units IP address frequently. Sometimes it is hard to get the app to display tracks when browsing by album. I keep tapping the album name and nothing happens. When it finally does I have no idea how I got it to work.

Immediately crashes on startup - tried on two different lollipop devices. If Olive Media wants their player to be successful they will get the author of Squeeze Commander to support the Olive One. With the Olive app, the player will never make it.
Didn't work at all, crash after crash while attempting to open. Thank you Apple for the gift of the iPod touch, the app actually works on it. This app is just a useless storage vampire on my Nexus 5 (and Nexus 7)
Updated to newest android lollipop. App keeps crashing
Thouģh not any options it is working step in the right direction I
Doesn't work
Of course it doesn't work. Olive one is the biggest rip off ever
At connecting to my One.
I waited 7 months - after I paid Olive - to receive a Lemon! Very sick joke.
9 times out of 10 I get a blue screen stating no devices found. Check network settings etc. My network settings are fine this app isn't.
It's getting better...
At all.

This app is just a useless storage vampire on my Nexus 5 (and Nexus 7). UPDATE: I've sold the Olive One and purchased an Auralic Aries Mini - a vastly superior music streamer that actually works. Anyone stupid enough to still own the Olive One should do likewise.
