Fix it. This cost us $800!

Olio shut down operations and left everyone high and dry with a product never totally working properly. Never even sent email to users they shut down. Not honoring warranty or returns. And can't do class action.

Still works! I turn off most functions to get longer battery life. Nice looking watch.

It does not work. Watch face is dead

i am an early adopter of the olio watch. when i first got it, it was slow, laggy, and the battery life sucked. now, its faster and last. this is great. i wish there was an option for analog and digital simultaneously though

Great app does what it says.

Started out a bit shaky but the developers have continually improved performance. I have no issues with Bluetooth connectivity to the watch and the app has improved stability and features. Recently switched phones and the setup and pairing process was much easier this time. I'm very happy with the improvements in usability and how updates push to the watch without me thinking about it.

Watch and app have vastly improved after a rocky start. Still missing a few initially promised functions but it does exactly what I wanted it for. Battery life is also much improved and gets me now through most days.

Works as expected and improving with every update. Latest app update shows watch update download progress which is interesting.

This is as much a rating for the watch as for the app. Watch came with outdated software and was very buggy. Update: even after software update, battery was horrible, software's buggy. Hardware's nice, but this watch should not be out of beta testing. Would not buy!

Set up was definitely buggy, as the other reviews described. However, I was able to get through it and paired it successfully with my android phone. It was working great and I loved it until it suddenly died. Now the watch won't turn back on.

Pretty much DoA. Initial setup seemed to be going fine, though the screen wouldn't turn on. Then the app froze. I kept getting the watch owned by somebody else error. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. And now I can't get the app to even find the watch. The screen has never turned on.

Update to my earlier review, I gave it one more star. After over an hour, I finally got it to pair with my phone, and the watch is working. I have been able to explore all of the faces and settings. Still, it's not syncing with my email, sms, or calendar. No idea how to make that work. It's pretty, and watch itself seems to function fine. Still, was hoping for more.

Just got the watch yesterday. Full charge on phone and watch. Open the Olio Assist App and it says watch is owned by someone else and to have them unpair from their phone app. Very frustrating... Hope they fix this soon or it's going back

watch wont pair to start with. then it cant update. no email, no texts. its a lousy software app. addendum: somehow overnight the watch upgraded to 1.1.74 which seems to have solved some of the glitches. getting email now and phone calls and messages. however battery life still sucks, and i cant get rid of reminders. And is there anyway to turn the watch on and off?

Same issues as most people. The watch was initially paired to another device. Contacted support and they never got back to me. Eventually got it to work. App doesn't do much. Notifications don't come through to the watch. Only have the weather... Currently my screen will not come on at all no matter what I do. I would like a true 30 day trial but will probably only get 30 hours of use before returning. Shame... a watch that doesn't tell time, it's not even right twice a day.

I think this product was released a little to soon!! I have been unable to get the watch to work other than for about a 15 minute period. Beautiful display but I haven't seen it for 2 days. I occasionally am able to get a weak display for a few seconds by tapping on the screen. I have been told numerous times that this is someone else's watch and to have them un-pair the device from their phone. One time while on the charger it really got hot. The problem with their troubleshooting procedures is that it requires a working phone!! I hope they can resolve their problems.

Crashes frequently. Initial setup fails 3/4 times. Pages in the app load with just a blank screen. Halfway through setup, the app decided it didn't want to load any pages, so I had to uninstall, unpair, and restart the process 3 times before it finally worked. The rules section is severely lacking. No option to turn off 'other' notifications... Awful app

The only people giving this 5 stars must be friends, family, or owners of this company. The support is horrendous, they won't even answer my requests for an RMA. The watch barely lasts 4 hours if I'm lucky, sometimes the screen will go blank if I'm lucky enough to see the time on it anyway. The bluetooth implementation is beyond horrible, connecting and disconnecting at whim. My phone doesn't even show it connected at times when the watch says it is. Notifications are completely random. Can't finish...

This review is for the watch more than the app. The watch looks great, but even after pairing it and updating to the latest firmware, does not function properly. Too bad, it's a good looking lump of metal.

The Bluetooth on my HTC one m8 keeps on crashing randomly and I can't get the screen on the watch to turn on when I want to turn on. It randomly turns on once in a while and shuts back off after a few seconds even though I might be doing something in the menu. The hardware looks good but the software is basically garbage. This is not a usable product in the current state since I can't even get the time when I need to...

The app and the watch are not delivering as promised. They both need updates asap, the hardware is nice but the software is bad for now. Main issues are that the screen cuts off abruptly, solved by keeping it in night mode and medium brightness. Also notifications stopped working, no navigation, Bluetooth has a mind of its own, sometimes won't charge, status on app is not up-to-date sometimes, resets randomly sometimes. Aside from the charging issue all other problems are software related.

Can't get the watch to display the screen. Endlessly keeps trying to connect to my phone. Olio assist keeps telling me that the owner has to unpair the watch! I paid a lot of money for this and was super eager to receive it after pre-ordering it and waiting for 3+ months. It's a beautiful watch but it's worthless if it cannot function as described! Did you guys properly test it before releasing and shipping it. I would have gladly waited a bit longer to get a proper functioning product!

Have most functions off and settings on low. Just having it disconnected from charger with no activity and on the side of the table... watch dies in about 4 hours... also on the app the analog and digital switch does not seem to work. Currently running the 1.1.47 software

Sorry I purchased this device. I am in the process of returning it for an evaluation but they don't know when I will be getting the watch returned to me. Too bad; it's an elegant looking smart watch. I have tried to update it with the the instructions they gave me via email correspondence but despite their reasoning my watch really will not update to the new software update 1.1.63. My sensor also appears to be less than calibrated. What really irks me is the CEO lack of communication with its consumers.

I agree with the other reviews. Took two months for delivery. Returned the other day. I was really excited over this watch initially.

Looking forward to seeing updates, but it is a nice watch that serves a unique function

No one should by this junk. It's not working what's so ever. Wasted my time and money.

I was out with my wife and saw the kids calling on my Olio. We got to say goodnight! It's true that the latest version has taken into account the issues of the past and improved overall device stability. Enjoying the product. Has room to continue growing into something more fiercely helpful in time.

The focus for the design of the Olio watch must have been on the look of this watch. It is by far the handsomest smart watch on the market. Olio's marketing and PR are pretty slick as well. Together they convinced me to buy one. Unfortunately they put little effort into the software and the things that make this watch tick, because it simply doesn't work! Pairing this watch was not easy and it took a few attempts and a lot of time before I got it to work. But I was successful....sort of. Once I got the watch working I found the software buggy. The face would not turn on when I turned my wrist, I would have to tap the face hard, or flick my wrist, hard, just to see the time. When I got a call, the phone number would show up, but not the contact name. The same with texts. And the e-mail function, well, that work too well. Even though I turned off my Gmail notifications, all my mail came through. Every piece of spam and junk mail clogged the face of the watch. The most frustrating however, was the battery life, never more than 8 hours. My Olio is now sitting in the closet!

Great watch but software needs help.

Stuck in an endless loop of trying to pair and being told the watch belongs to someone else. May be returning this watch within the 30 day period. Too bad, it's a great looking bracelet but doesn't work!
