OKIDOKEYS

I'll be right in front of my door and have to wait for it to connect. Plus, almost got locked out. It seems it has to be recalibrated or something cause the bolt wouldn't turn all the way. Just removed the lock and put my old regular back. To much of a headache. Hands free doesn't work at all on mine anyway.

Says scanning device and nothing appears. Tried deleting the app millions of times and nothing. How should I enter my house if this doesn't work?

The smart lock works perfectly, but the app needs improvements. I would also like to see a widget available so you can unlock/lock your door from the home screen. It would also be nice to unlock via Google now's voice commands. I love the lock but will change my rating once the app is fixed and at least has a widget for it. ~Zack~

Now it says i am offline & have a limited time to lock & unlock. Told me no data connection, well I'm on the internet without wifi. Now won't lock or unlock house, not gonna stay on the door long like that.

Working on iPad 2, not on the smartphone

Installed this device rather easily. The application on both the mobile and desktop are horrible. The mobile app inputs fields the desktop app doesn't recognize. Tried adding family members to log in through the app. One got a registration email, the other hasn't. We even made a new email address just to try to get it to work and switched the phone to cellular data to boot. Everything about the software that runs this thing is horrible. It's always so hard to find the things you're looking for.

I've had the lock for 4 hours only and am having some problems. 1. Geo location is wide and it doesn't work at all. I reached my apartment and still the door was locked. Then I opened the app, waited 30 sec to connect to Okidokeys and I had to unlock by swiping. 2. Okidokeys should automatically lock the door after it was opened and then shut, but nothing happened which made me to lock it manually because that was faster than grapping the phone

Just not a good product many bugs and support is in California not good for the east coast takes days to get back to you only email never answer the phone I wish I could return it

Been having a few problems and ready to return it. It might help if anyone ever replied to an email or answers the phone. I have called several times and sent repeated emails with no response.

They have been promising network Connectivity, for 2 years . keeps getting delayed . moving on wish I could get my money back . horrible

The app functions pretty well, but needs to be made more convenient to lock/unlock so that it's less cumbersome to use. The auto unlock feature needs improvement because the app has to remain open for the feature to work unlike other IoT companies with similar features. Very much needs an Android Wear app built in.

Geofencing works well for handsfree, but the app keeps the phone awake, so it severely drains the battery. Life360, IFTTT, Tasker, Trigger, and others use Geolocation without these issues.

With new update just keeps scanning the doors until i exit app. Cannot change anything unlock/lock doors nothing. Just scans find and scan. Suck in a loop.

Found Bluetooth scanning really really really slow when there are open apps in the background. But if I kill all apps before launching okidokeys, it detects the lock much faster. Is this a bug in the app or Android? Anyway i was so annoyed that i changed my phone from a motorola G2(1gb ram) to a sony z3(3gb ram). The lock is detected very fast now, so i no longer need to close my running apps to free ram. Problem solved :)

Destroys battery life. 2014 Moto X, less than 9 hours total battery life and it keeps the phone awake.

Smart-Lock = open your doors with your smartphone, too cool!

With the PIN enabled it never let's me log back in. Makes me log in all over again. It's faster to take out my keys. Not very useful in this state.

Now that my sync issue is fixed everything is back to normal. My current phone still won't connect to the locks as quickly as my old phone.

Ever since updating my Nexus 5 to Android 5.1, I am unable to unlock or lock with this app. It sees the lock in the app, but always times out when attempting to unlock or lock. Please fix!

The other day i upgraded the Okidokey app on my Samsung Galaxy S5, the worst thing I could have done.Now when I approach the door from the outside coming in the app does not show the slide lock. I have to shut off bluetooth and then turn it back on for ot to recognize the slide lock/unlock. It would be faster to use my key. Hands free function no longer works at all and the earlier vesion it did but you would have to be standing at the door for about 20 seconds before it would open the door. Stick with your metal keys,you will be able to open your door faster. It would have been nice if it did work when it is raining or snowing out, who wants to stand outside longer than they have to. This app will have you waiting at least a minute. If I could give it zero stars I would.

The point is to be truly hands free. For example, my phone will connect to my Android Wear watch and do all that it is suppose to do. But the Android Wear app doesn't have to be running in the background. That is how it should be for this app. Also, need to have option to disable to pop up when I activate hands free mode. I only need to read instructions once, not every time I activate it.

The app works exactly like it should, but seems to get stuck running in the background unless completely closed through the recent apps. Does this on all of my family's phones which includes an S5, S4, Note 4, and Droid Turbo. That's also without the Bluetooth hands- free enabled. Not a huge issue but if you don't remember to close it, it does kill your phone.

App is stable on note 4 with 4.4.4. Looking forward to the smart gateway!

App does alright, the iOS version works way better, it's more responsive and the remote unlock is much more reliable. Unfortunately the lock itself has stopped working completely after almost a month of constant problems. The support we received was perfectly fine but they often had no idea why the device was screwing up. Edit: In response, we told you what problems we were having and none of your suggestions fixed it. We've already returned it, I don't hate the product just feel it needs more work.

Needs to be able to run permanently in background to unlock by bluetooth proximity without having to open app and then activating the hands free mode. Right now, app can be closed by the Android system if RAM runs low, which means I have to pull out my phone and make sure the app is still active to have hands free. Also, what is up with the repeated instruction pop ups when you turn on hands free mode? Need to have option to disable this. I only need to read instructions once, not every time I activate it.

The product works as advertised. But I have issues with the new lollipop update. I'll set the Bluetooth hands free mode on and approach my door and I'm standing there for 15-30 seconds waiting for it to open. Very annoying especially when I'm holding groceries. It used to open 15ft away from my door, makes me sad remembering that. I'm hoping a update will fix it. Another issue is the warning message for setting the hands free. Please add an option to disable acknowledgement when lock is out of range.

Extremely reliable, hasn't faulted on me once. Would like it to at least remember my email on the login page though. Typing in my email when it's 4 degrees out is not easy nor fun.

Worth every penny. You can modify it to work with commercial does and locks. I use it for my employees entrance door.
