Better than any third party app. Every android phone have wifi hotspot function,then why we need to install anather wifi hotspot app. This app only creates hotspot shortcut.

This app is exactly what it says it is... it's basically a Shortcut to the Hotspot toggle setting buried in your phone. I have a Galaxy Note 2 and that setting is buried deep in my settings and it's a hassle to reach deep down there just to turn it on. I was looking for a shortcut widget and found this. It's interesting how it turns Red when it's activated and grey when it's turned off. In order for it to work, your phone must already have the Tethering Option activated, either through your carrier or from a rooted phone. There is, however, one flaw with this program. When you turn on the Widget, it turns off WiFi and turns on the Hotspot feature like it's suppose too.... BUT... when you turn off the Widget, it does NOT turn your WiFi back on. Now sure if it's an oversight of the developer or not.. That is something that should be looked at and added in an update...
