Sketch-a-Song Kids

Sorry, I wasn't able to write a complete review XD Anyways, this is the app kids need to use if they were to be musicians! The interface is simple yet colorful, very kid- and family-friendly, and children of all ages(including teens and adults) will love this! Simply marvelous! Keep up the good job!

You will not be able to leave this alone. I'm 24 years old and I can't turn it off for more than a few minutes XD I gave it a 4 star rating because as an adult, I of course would like to impose my horrible compilations on my facebook friends. Since it is for kids though, maybe a Share button isn't a great idea.

I love this app! It's very fun and useful. It's not only fun, but also educational(with music). If you don't have music "skills" they can choose a groove and edit it.

Fun, simple to use. Only issues are it's awkward to change the tempo, and time consuming to scroll forward to the end of your song. But otherwise its fun to play around with.

It is easy to use and create loops of music with it! One thing is missing though, a download option to download the track.

It's so fun to use and play around with! It's a little hard so scroll on a small device but it helps you make creative pieces of music! All it needs is •A way to make an account to sync the songs to all devices •Easier scrolling and tempo •Export as midi/audio (to listen to as mp3)

Im 12 and i do piano lessons and this helps me with my insperation of what i should play because i pratic somewhere far away and i find it makes it easier to make ur own songs +its very simple

Love the graphical interface. It can even be used for creating a sequence of guitar chords when one wants to make up a song. Thank you very much, well done.

Love it! it's simple and easy but not to where it gets​ boring after a while which I find that to be a rare combo.

I remember my kid came home from school and said he found a new app called sketch a song. So i went on my phone amd searched it up and downloaded it, he said they were really cool things. And sure enough there was.

Thank you for having an ad free game for kids! It upsets me when I download an app for my 6 year old that is supposed to be made for younger kids, then see a large "zombie game" ad appear… :(

I had made a lot of songs but it was a difficult task to remember the tunes i made. The app helped me in doing so. I love everything related to music and this app has helped me out in taking a more step towards music. Thank you for creating such a brilliant app.

You can't share it. I wanted to put the music I made on social media. But I couldn't because there was no share button. If you could fix this I would give it five stars

I started off horrible, but now that ive got the hang of it, i can draw pictures and still sound amazing!

Gives you or your child the feeling that it's not so complicated to write music. This is something I've always thought, and it has kept me from creating any. Now I feel like if I practice on here and get a feel for it, I can do it. It's great the only thing is I wish you could download or share the creation you make to use elsewhere ( so no one - my son- can't edit it. You can have it just the way you wanted it forever!)

The only problem is we can't record in format mp3 and use it for some other things Hope u update this stuff because I want those music's composed to run under the video that I want to direct with my own music

As I said in the title

At school we used this app in a music lesson and that lesson was more fun than playing some of the most sold games in the world so now I play it daily on my phone at home

My kids, students and I can be on this for hours just creating new art which is a new song. So much fun for any age!!!

Super fun to play with. My kids and I love it. One change that would be cool but not necessary is if there was a way to get a print out of the sheet music for the song you create. Like getting a copy emailed.

Very useful when inspiration comes suddenly in the middle of the day and you want to see what it gives in music before getting home (in other words, before forgetting).

Really nice program to get kids hooked on making music! I've been trying to find something to get the kids off of their subway-surfer addiction and I think this might just do the job. Lots of options, very intuitive, no complaints!

Couldn't be easier to make music than with this app! The grooves supplied with it are authentic in sound and feel - try 'Calypso' to start with. The interface is great: the only things I found difficult were scrolling and changing the tempo. Thanks heaps! :-) I'd also like a 'Save [and continue, I.e. without exit]' feature, and a 'Save as ...' feature too. Also, how about an export/import facility, to MIDI or MusicML?

I am uninstalling, it sucks when you install an app that is highly rated but isn't any good .

I've never rated an app before but this was too good not to say so! I downloaded it for my toddler but so far only I've played it! Seriously fun, easy, satisfying, and addictive! And I really appreciate the fact that it's free and free of inapp purchases too!
