Works fine "locally" on galaxy S3 jellybean. On outgoing/incoming cell record w/uplink chosen, seems to rec, but java exception on playback halts the fun. I am very savvy, not a newbie. error:java.io.IOException: setDataSourceFD failed.: status=0x80000000 I have >120 apps maybe a conflict? I'd like to see it work because of all the choices to "record by", but for now moving on

poor...does not work on my galaxy S2...tried everything...voice call, uplink, 3GP or MP4, manual or auto.. etc etc.. shows 0kb files in case of auto recording...shows correct file size in case of manual recording but can not hear anything...no voice...nothing.... :( :( uninstalling....

Works amazingly on Galaxy S2. The graphical interface isn't anything to brag about, but the functionality of the software is what matters to me. Been using it for a few days and so far, no dropped calls and no crashes. Mine is set to automatically record calls (both incoming and outgoing). Codec is set to MP4 and Source is set to Voice Call. The files get saved in a separate folder under /PhoneTapper/. This software deserves 5 stars, but most people skip the 5 star reviews to see what's wrong with it.

It's sound quality is so good. But when we use the Bluetooth it doesn't record the end person voice.

i have internal memory /mnt/storage and sdcard /mnt/sdcard. instead of saving to /mnt/sdcard/PhoneTapper (like what it said and what i want), it saves in /mnt/storage/PhoneTapper. please fix, or allow for custom location.works on garmin asus a10 using source from mic. for a cheap unpopular phone, this is better than nothing.

Back when I had Gingerbread, it worked fine, and so it was one of my top apps, but since the upgrade to ICS, it can't really record the other person's audio properly. I understand that is an ICS problem so I will give this app 3 stars instead of 1. Also, it would be good to send back some feedback, but I can't work out how.
