I noticed east and west are backwards. In my prayers waabinoong comes first which is east not west.

Very nice easy to use I am full blooded native american I am not ojibaw I am Cherokee of park county I belong to the four corners Indian reservation

I love this app.

I never thought that an app this great existed. Keep up the good work.

Good but not great. The layout screen is a series of small icons which, when selected takes the user to a listing of specific named buttons. These may be great for an android phone but do not expand well in tablets and therefore are quite small when viewed. Once the user selects an item from the icons and then selects a phrase and presses the specific button, he hears that phrase repeated. This however is of poor sound quality and the speaker only says the phrase quickly in real-time. It would be much more effective if the speaker would slowly sound out each syllable of the words which make up the phrase then, say it back in real-time. One who doesn't know the language, will require this in order to get at least close to the proper pronunciation. Gus Porter

We must preserve our indigenous languages in order to preserve our culture and identity. This app definitely is doing just that. A great way to learn any language is to speak it and practice, this app helps. Have fun and enjoy the Ojibway language. Laugh a little.

This app is very clean looking. The interface is easy to use. It has good content for a free app. I feel an improvement could be made if there was the inclusion of the writing system and/or the commonly accepted English lettering equivalents when you listened to the spoken words, just as an extra pronunciation aid. It's very easy to mishear things when you aren't familiar with what you're hearing.

We as Anishinaabeg need to stop learning and teaching how to speak English in ojibway! There is now an option! C. Helen Roy Fuhst' sound based method to learning Anishinabemowin!

I'm happy with it, its just super basic and it doesn't really give you a full idea of the language. It would be nice to have it display not only the English spelling but the ojibway spelling as well so I can figure out exactly how to pronounce the words.

Wonderful to not only have the translations but also hear the correct pronunciation!

I love it. Finally! An app that teaches me my native language!! Haha. Its great. Though it doesn't have much sayings, or words.. It teaches you the stuff we use now-a-days, Its not That bad I guess..

I love this app. My 4 year old daughter learns so much from this app. She loves to repeat the words and has a fluent accent when she says it. I think pictures of some words, say animals or food, would be great for people who learn best visually. Also, colors would be a great addition to the app. I love this app because its helping me be more exposed to my language for practice. I have always been able to catch on to elders' conversations in Ojibway but I have finally begun to understand the words themselves

I've been wanting to take language classes for awhile now and this app lets me learn my native tongue at my own pace. Looking forward to new words being added! Hope its soon!

My husband is native and this app just helps me with some basic words to help me learn and teach our son.

What am I doing wrong? I press on a word and nothing happens
