Join TEDxMerseyside to explore themes including use of bio materials, ethics in art, rights of passage, inspiring our work life, innovations for learning and the effects of non-verbal communication.

Futurism was a social and art movement founded over 100 years ago focusing on futuristic concepts. TEDx Merseyside brings Futurism into the 21st century.

We will be looking to the future, to innovativion, future thinking, future approaches and the future of our world. We want our speakers to share their vision of what is coming and to challenge the thinking of others.

About TEDx, x=independently organized event

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self- organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x=independently organized TED event.

The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.*
