OMER's World for Android
OMER's world is getting better all the time, but there's still plenty of room for improvement. The user interface is clunky, partly it seems from the app's origin as a tool for attendees at professional conferences. Some of the functionality and terminology from that world is not consistent with the way we think of World Finals. The full screen ad that pops up regularly is extremely annoying, and not doing anything to make me well disposed toward that sponsor, even though they have been very good to us. As a WF official, I'm primarily interested in schedules and contacting other officials. The team performance schedules worked decently, but the schedule of other events is not very helpful when accessed from the home page as it does not show the date and time until each item is clicked. Two things would be helpful in contacting other officials: going ahead and assigning us each to groups based on our problem/division, and making the messaging notification actually provide notifications - not just an indicator on the "Attendees" page. Overall though, I've definitely put the app to good use at WF 2017, and look forward to even more utility and usability at WF 2018.
Not very user friendly, the ad for the local area was HUGELY intrusive, and the search functionality was barely useful when searching for a specific school.
This app was amazing and completely helped navigate sites while at World Finals in MI!!!
It was helpful for the most part but the maps section would not work
This is pretty helpful, but the rest of my team used printed out schedueles. Notifications also pop up multiple times after I check the app, which is a bother.
Would be helpful if it was easier to find on Google play, but the app has useful information and is intuitive . It is currently missing information, I hope that gets fixed. Also not sure about being able to log in. Can't find location of spontaneous. Still, an app worth having if your team is going to worlds.

You would expect such an app to at least follow design guidelines. Also it is silly how it downloads info every time you open it. I hate to say it but as a developer myself I must tell you this: take a programing and design course. Last year Google announced something called material design, read up because this app is frankly bad. I hope this is just one person working on this because the quality of work is so unacceptable for one person let alone a team. I can and probably will make a better one for this.

The app is decent but still needs work. The ads are imposing. It is semi user friendly but not as easy to navigate as I would like. It is also VERY boring to look at. This is Odyssey of the Mind...make it look fun and creative!
