It's horrible. This is a way crappier version if the Canary. The best system I've seen is the Nest. I have one cam that records 24/7 and the technology is sweet. I also have 4 anker cams and thet suck so hard!!! This is horrible, dont bother!! Run and get your money back!!

Previous versions of this app worked well. The most recent version will never load a live view. Can't view my recorded events. Alerts are either very slow to cube through our never received.

FIX YOUR SERVERS! Anker is constantly having server storage issues that causes all cameras to go offline. They recently wiped all previous recordings and right now the cameras aren't even recording motion events like they should. This should be a class action lawsuit for selling us these useless paperweights they call cameras.

When I hear my boys up to no good and I want to check on them I click the button and have to force close the program repeatedly until it chooses to work. By then the camera is useless to me. Update months later: still completely unusable from phone. Makes this 95% useless. By the time you can see the live feed nothing you needed to see is there.

Hangs / takes a very long time to render video and my network is 300mbps over 300mbps. I had plans to use several cams however I'm glad I only bought 2 to tryout first. I will be replacing them with cams that have a reliable app for viewing. What a disappointment!

App has huge issues. Im using a Note 5. When trying to open the app, 90% of the time it'll just open up with a solid white screen. Sometimes it completely freezes up my phone. I need to repeatedly close and open the app to hopefully get it working.

Hangs quite frequently on Android Marshmallow. Have to close and reopen a few times. Also, video takes a bit to load initially. It doesn't seem to be an issue over the web. UPDATE: EVEN WORSE NOW ON ANDROID 7.0...

The camera itself works really great. The app needs a lot of work. When it works, it's great. Unfortunately I have to launch the app, kill it, then launch it again to get it to work. This isn't just every now and then, this is every single time. It's not just my Nexus 6p, it was the same on my m7 and my wife's old Moto E and her new Moto G. Please, Anker, do something to fix this.

App lags, freezes or screen goes black on galaxy s6 edge. Needs to be stronger.

Seems like support has dropped for this app and product completely. This cam is pretty useless now.

Software takes a long time to load the camera video. Also needs to have the option of turning off night vision or infrared lights.

Camera has huge lag and the image is not great. No update for app in many months and product no longer being made. Can't even store your clips without app.

Sometimes the app actually works and shows camera video. More often it just shows loading for a long time. However, the app consumes excessive battery even when not in use which can prevent the phone from charging overnight unless you first force stop the app. Android 6.0.1 Nexus 6.

The motion sensor alert isn't responsive, even when u set the motion alert to high. A little disappointing coming from anker.

Performance is bad. Have to reinstall frequently for the camera to initially load

Works fine on my Galaxy S6. I do hate the timeline motion history and would much prefer a date and time-stamped list.

Not working well. Needs to be updated. Lots of force closes.

Constant loading on screen

This camera is great but the app crashes all the time. I constantly have to close and reopen the app. When it's up and operational, it's great to monitor activity at home and communicate real-time. However, the camera rarely loads the first time I open the app. Then when it does load, it takes 2 attempts to get to the live feed. If you leave the app open and switch to another app, you cannot go back to the app. Instead, you have to completely restart your phone. The app is super annoying.

I've gotten the app to work like two times. Good camera, decent web interface (not mobile friendly), but the worst Android app I have encountered in my 4 years with Android devices. Crashes on startup, freezes my brand new Nexus 6P, and when it does work the UI is a confused mess of ported iOS assets shoved haphazardly into an Android app. Skip it, and the camera, if you are planning to primarily use an Android device with it.

Works awesome on my wife's iPhone and almost never works on my Android phone. Waste of money.

Thank you for the update. All the issues I was experiencing with Android 6.0 have been resolved.

App will show the cameras online, but gets stuck trying to view the camera feeds. Works fine on my cellphone running an older Android version.

Recent updates make the app much improved. Camera loads with no hesitation and the features are great. Thank you

"Your device is not compatible with this version". I've got 8 android devices and this only works on one of them. Works ok on that but slow choppy and the voice feature is unusable. Don't expect to hold a conversation.

No marshmallow makes it useless to me. So glad I bought 3 of these cameras.

Overall I like this. I can tell it lags at times and hog all resources. Then again, it will when streaming live feeds. I look forward to buying more cans in the future with ease of use. Please, do get a tablet app available asap.

Does not work with Marshmellow/6P. Worked fine on my iOS device. Will change review if the app is ever fixed. Right now, it just takes up space and force closes.

I have an s5. 80% of the time when u launch the app, it will just sit at a white screen or a white screen with anker at the top. Sometimes closing all apps, opening and closing anker cam 3x, and then reopening it will work. In order to view the live feed once you finally have the app open, I have to view a recording then click on view live.

Live viewing works fine, but when you try to view past recordings the app loads indefinitely both on LTE and WiFi

Just continues indefinitely without installing. And Acer iconia won't connect to camera just continuously saying loading. Finally speaker doesn't work on cam.
