Geo Measure GPS Area Distance

I use this app often for distance and area. Maybe not 100% but way cheaper than a surveyor for non legal measurements.

Simple, easy to use, very accurate. I LOVE the fact you can pre place pins and then fine tune them. This is well worth the money!

Great APP still a few kinks. Would be nice to rotate the map for saving the plot. If you are doing multiple field measurements and share them for saving it seems to continually send the first layout not the subsequent selection.

When you exit the app it keeps the gps icon in notification bar. Suggesting the app is still tracking my gps location AFTER I've exited the app. This needs to be fixed. I shouldn't have to reboot after every use of the app.

Now I only wished you had windows 10, then 5 star! Works great in our lawn measuring work.

Will not lock on to gps

Had this app installed for some time and finally go to use it to check the size of a vacant building to see how big it is. Fortunately the maps were up to date and the building was there in satellite view. I also just used it to see the acreage of a brush fire for our reports. No more pacing off. Now I can pre-plan hose lays for long driveways too. Great app so far - Samsung S5.

Excellent app

Easy to use. Start app and it then overlays Google Maps. Distance works just like the old Measure function in Maps labs that Google took out. Area works in same way but hard to get precise points marked, so interesting but not precise. Try it!

I need this to track my gps line so it measures an area I drive around. (I.e drive around the perimeter of a fire and get area in acres) would be 5 if gos would draw track. Paid for it and cant get a refund.

Does what it says it does, simple and easy to use. Would like to have it show thai area (1 rai=1600 sqr m for example).

I have been looking for an app that, unlike Google maps measuring tool, gives measurements in USABLE UNITS (feet, yards, meters, etc) for a long time. Serves my purpose very well and is simple to use.

Perfect. I use it to measure golf yardages and it seems very accurate.

How do I save it on my DROID 4

Would have a 5 star but every time I try and use GPS it just keeps saying searching and when you type in a address it doesn't pin point it so I'm stuck trying to find the location. Fix this and 5 stars all the way.

Connected to wifi and google maps works but this wont bring up the picture of the map. Motorola tablet.

The guys at ObjectGraph have done it again. They have taken one of my favorite iPad Apps and recreated it for Andriod. You can calculate areas or distances by taping points out on a google map. I dont know how these guys do it.

Initially it did not load the maps, but the developers fixed it fast enough. Accurately measures distances and areas. Since it uses google maps, the satellite imagery is very recent. Love it.
