Works great on Droid. Wish it had a exit function you have to force close it to kill it. Maybe a close feature would help.

Only pauses music with optical button on htv desire. Is there anyway to use a long press on the volume button to play next and previous?

Works just fine; it's the only app that does this with the camera button. But could you update to the new interface?
