Do you have a phone with a fingerprint scanner? Then get this app!! It has one purpose and it does that brilliantly! Clicking photos with friends is way easier now and so much more practical.

finger selfie camera doesnt work on bbm & my redmi note 4G....already claim by email but still no respond

Everytime I open messenger app, a window pops up saying dactyl service running. Requesting refund.

Great all! Only problem is it doesn't work if the camera is launched from the lock screen.

Developer responded back to my message with a fix for the issue I was facing. Kudos for that. Definitely a 5 star app...cheers!!!

app is crashing on android 7.1.2 on nexus 6p. it was working on 7.1.1 before.

It's not working anymore on kenzo (redmi note 3 snapdragon) running latest lineage os 14.1 or any rom based on lineage os source, it's keep FC, hope you fix it soon. Update : it's ok now, thanks for your support.

I can't use it while phone is locked, have to unlock my phone first.

Works well! Great concept and execution. Terrific for selfies! Looking forward to full Instagram support. Otherwise flawless.

A great nifty app for Pixel users.

Ok, this is a good app. It's brilliant, but so simple. It's one of those apps that you didn't realize you needed until you started using it. It's SO MUCH EASIER to just do a fingerprint scan to take the pic instead of reaching down to that onscreen button in the google camera. I feel like I get better pics now, because I don't have to fumble with my big old nexus 6p to actually take the pic anymore. Good job!!

Great in every way. Very convenient if you have a fingerprint scanner on the back of your phone. Only gripe is that it doesn't appear to work if you launch the camera app using a gesture like the Pixel's double click on the power button. Other than that, flawless.

Great app! Partly got google pixel thinking the fingerprint cam would be an integrated feature and was surprised when it wasnt so good work making it happen! One Q though, does it really have to automatically say 'dactyl service is running' whenever i open an app including a cam? It's annoying. It covers new messages on whatsapp. Fortunately can disable it, but would like to not have had to. Other than that, love it!

I have a nexus 6p and this is causong yhe phone to jitter, and as soon i uninstalled it ot worked fine. The app concept ia gteat, however and works perfectly.

1 question, doesn't work with FB messenger (5x, would feel sensor vibrate but no pic is taken). Uninstall and reinstalled both apps. Any suggestions?

As the new owner of a Google pixel XL I recommend this app for any pixel owner! With the fingerprint sensor on the back it makes it extremely easy to take selfies and overhead group shots. And even better it works extremely well in portrait mode using the back camera!

Doing it right

Sometimes does not work until I restart the camera app. Does not work with the other Instagram camera that you get by swiping to the right. (Stories camera) EDIT: Take a photo in snapchat > tap the image to bring up the caption box > cancel photo > touching fingerprint scanner no longer works to take photos until restarting the app

Works flawlessly except for Instagram. For instance, it doesn't work if I try to take a photo by swiping right from my feed. However, it works when I access from the middle button (camera). Can you please add "Select all" for the currently supported apps? Because it is tedious to unselect the apps.

It's intuitive and useful; I take the perfect pictures quicker now. Installation was quick and I appreciate having the option of toggling apps on and off. Integration within the apps is seamless!

Great idea, unfortunately slows down device (stuttering in animations, clearly visible when slowly scrolling through app drawer) when enabling accessibility service. Nexus 6p, latest Nougat version.

It's a feature that should have been integrated in stock Android!

I love the app and I'll recommend all my friends to get it as well. Just a small request, is there any way to disable the dactyl service running toast. It always keeps popping up every few seconds when I run Google camera, WhatsApp etc

The app you never knew you needed. I have a Nexus 6P and it makes taking photos so much easier, especially if taking a photo at an awkward moment! Well worth purchasing.

Makes shooting selfies so much easier! It's nice to be able to hold the phone and not worry about dropping it while trying to press shutter button on screen. Also cool for one handed portrait shots on Nexus 6P.
