Before their re-vamp, I could actually log in for more than two days in a row, now I have to uninstall and then reinstall and reconnect my device just to be able to log in. Fix it.
It was fine until the upgrade. Now it's pointless even using the app because nothing works. It looked outdated before but at least it worked.
I installes the.new updated app two weeks ago. I was able to log in the first few times but now i can't. I keep getting "an unknown error occurred". I've tried reinstalling it twice and it hasn't helped. This is not what I expected. The old app wasbetter. Never had a problem with it.
Won't work when u can get in won't let u do anything I use this alot for depositing checks it won't work now with the update I just been trying for hr they need to get fixed or go back to the old version
Took 30 minutes to login initially to change the password, then it worked for maybe half a day. Now has "unknown errors" and just sits at the "logging on" screen. Old app never had these issues, sometimes its best to leave a good thing alone.
Never let's me log in on first try. Have to kill it and try several more times and hope I'm lucky.
It's great to have a mobil app, however this still has bugs and several "unknown errors" I'm not comfortable with the chance for errors when dealing with finances.
Logged in set up my password everything was great. Tried logging in a couple days later and got "unknown error" now I'm locked out of my Account. Tried calling in and even the phone system is jacked up. "We are experiencing unusually heavy call volumes, thank you for your patience. Please continue to hold for the next available representative." OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN. No pause, no quiet, just the same two sentences until you go crazy and hang up. WTH happened?!
This app was great, until the update... now I can't get any further than the logging in screen. I never had one problem with the previous version, now the app is completely useless. Please fix this issue!!!
Had to change username and password after update. Logged in once and now I get "unknown error" and I'm locked out both the app and online. Now I have to call bank just to check my balance! Ugh.
The update is ugly. The update required I put in a bunch of security questions and update my password. I tried my password twice was told there was an unknown error and my online account is locked. Now i have to call customer support to unlock it. Why did I have to put in a bunch of security questions only to have to call customer support? So guess I'll spend tomorrow on hold to talk to someone who will most likely hate their job and ask 20 security questions only to get some temporary password.
I am really upset because I cannot use this new app at all. I have been seeing "unknown error" and have been having to login to the desktop site! :( it's overall a huge pain since I used this app at least once per day. I love northwest, but seriously get it together with this app!
Was a great app until it was redone now its nothing but glitches.
New design is pretty nice. Being able to see the check images via mobile now is AWESOME. Statement PDF access is also nice to have, even though it isn't mobile-optimized. Overall, some big improvements. NOTE: For anyone getting an "unknown error" when you attempt to log in, try changing your password through the desktop site. I actually had to do this a couple of times, and I think the issue could be that Northwest Mobile isn't liking overly complex passwords. I had mine initially as a randomly generated one with lots of weird characters---fine for the desktop site, but the mobile app gave me the dreaded "unknown error." I then changed the password to something with with fewer special characters and was able to get in without error. If this is the problem, they should definitely fix it so people can have more secure passwords, but it isn't too big of a deal. (Some special characters do work, but I can't confirm exactly what does or doesn't with any amount of certainty.)
It will not let me log in. The bar shows it's loading but it never opens no matter how long I wait. This app and the new banking system is awful.
Northwest has done a good job of continuing to improve the app since it's release. The newest redesign makes it feel more like an app and less like a mobile site.
It won't let me deposit my check now, which is the only reason I installed the app for. I uninstalled and reinstalled, tried and retried. It still wouldn't let me deposit my check. You can understand the frustration. I love the folks at NWSB are down to earth and genuinely very friendly. But this app is anything but user friendly. Please fix it.
When I start up the app and sign in, it always stays "logging in" and never logs me in. Then I have to delete the app's cache every time and then it works. I am using a galaxy s4 running kitkat (4.4.4). This is very annoying so please fix this and you will get 5 stars. Great app otherwise.
This app now sucks! Getting the dreaded unknown error when I put in my password. Of course they closed 1 minute before I tried to log in and now I'm screwed for money in the morning. Thanks NW for ruining a good thing!
This app is junk, can't even sign in without it saying unknown error . This app was fine the original way. If it's not broke, Don't fix it ...Please switch back to the old version. Terrible Terrible Terrible APP
The app before this last update worked well. This last one is buggie and a huge piece of crap. I hate it and am not happy. Trying to check my balance and all I get is "unknown errors " WTF does that mean? The new app sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can't log in due to "unknown errors". When I first logged in, the app seemed pretty cool, but haven't been able to log in since.
The app worked perfect before the update. Now I can't pay bills or use mobile deposit. Please work out the bugs
Most of the time I can't log in. I need to uninstall and reinstall just to log in. Mobile deposit locked my camera up completely.
Until the new app platform was released. Obviously did not do enough testing before this was implemented. Very buggy, can't input information into text boxes, and rendering problems with my phone.
It worked great until the last update. Now it let me log in at all. Not happy what so ever.
I had to call the bank to get help. Updated had to try 4 times with a new code before it would log in. It takes longer to load. I do not like the new style. The time this takes to do what i need, its quicker to just call the bank.
Cant log in I just get unknown error. Good job with breaking A perfectly working app. I dont trust when A bank cant even get a very simple app properly working.. how much money was wasted on this new hunk of garbage?
Tried to use mobile deposit. My pictures were rejected but the app couldn't connect to my phone's camera to retake until I restarted my phone. Samsung Galaxy Note 2
Bugs galore in the new update. Cannot deposit a check after the first one I did... Screen keeps freezing and won't let me capture image.
This is no longer usable from my phone. I used to use it to double check my account on the go but now I can't even accept the terms and conditions.
The only reason i gave one star is there is nothing lower. Cant log in even though im using the correct password. After 3 trys u get locked out of everything and have to call customer support. Oh by the way is not there 24 hrs and if its a holiday weekend u are locked out till they get back. I think if they brought in some first grade students maybe they would know more then the people that run their on line banking.
I have had this app for a few years now and i use to love it. Banking was so easy with the old app. The new app constantly crashes. I dont like logging in with a password now. I wanna log in with the pin i created. You will get 5 stars back when you get the old app back.
Was awesome before the update now it absolutely sucks doesn't work at all have to use the website to check my balance really disappointed that I have to delete this app

Check deposit can't connect to my camera, when it does, it locks up the device. Samsung Galaxy S6.
It takes at least three attempts to login every time I check my balance. It is not user error because this happens every time since the update. It is a waste of time and minor inconvenience to my day. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.
I miss the old app. I always get 'unknown error' or some other glitchy message....I am so frustrated that I dont have immediate access anymore

Can log in. Maybe it's time to switch to a bank that knows what they are doing
