UPDATE: This app is not compatible with modern (>Android 5?) devices that do not have a dedicated menu button. Without that button, there is no way to save or create new songs with the app. The app is a drag-and-drop scratchpad for building backing tracks. It won't create any radio-ready hits, but is an awesome songwriter's tool. It helps me throw together simple backing tracks to new songs as I write them. Since it's right on my phone, I can put together a song in minutes from anywhere- just add lyrics! I would like to see more styles, or at least add instrument options to the existing styles- they could be turned on or off for added variety.

Worked great on my Droid Turbo, now I have Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and there is no menu button on my phone or in the app. I haven't been able to use it. Would you (the developer) look into this? I will give a higher rating if this is addressed. Thank you.

Does not work well with other phones. App is built specifically for a certain phone so u cant use the apps full potential.

This is a good studio app for writing your own music I would have given it 5 stars If I had the option to choose my instruments and had a variety to choose from

You can work your voice on four tracks and mix with the music . Therefore you can add your voice in your computer using any multitrak software.

A must if you are writing, learning, arranging MUSIC! Awesome UI and an amazing tool for any musician. No brainer if you love Music and your Android. And it's getting better with every update. I use this everyday. You can't import wav files, yet lol, but you can export and use arrangements with others that do. So sequencing is powerful and infinite. I highly recommend this Music App. ~ To the developers, you're awesome! Keep up the great programming!! Thank You!!!

Very good app and easy to use. The absence of any but 4/4 time is a limitation that should be addressed. Also haven't seen an upgrade lately. Otherwise a very good app. UPDATE: However, when I got a tablet and installed this, I found it not very good, because there is no in-app menu button. You really need to correct that, because I cannot even save a project!

I can't do anything useful without a menu. I watched the instructional video and there's a menu at the bottom of the screen but mine has no menu. Please fix!

I've tried this app on 3 different phones, and dragging a selection to the garbage is virtually impossible!! Forget it.

This is a fantastic app with excellent digital sound. l have produced backings for 400+ songs and will proudly use any of them on any stage. You can take an instrument from one and mix in or add the drums from one to another. The options are almost limitless to anyone possessing a skerek of imagination and "audacity". Waltz timing is limited sure but it can be accomplished with excellent results.

I used this with my old HTC tab , great for messing around , upgraded tab only to realise there is no menu button in the app , so no save no load , this makes this app utter rubbish

Can't find menu on a tablet version. Have emailed developers for instructions as the Web link given below doesn't work. If I can't make it work on tablet it is of no use to me and I shall be getting a refund. A shame as it would be a useful teaching tool.

I wish though that there were a way to import midi files, edit them, support other time signatures.

When they fix the menu problem I will re-rate the app.

This is a great app. Totally easy to use. I tried a lot of different apps but this one is by far the most intuative and fun! Update! Used to love it but it no longer works. No menu to save a song on my note 3

Well thought out program that makes it so easy to set a groove up to play against. Sad to see that it is not being actively developed as there are so many good things you could do with it like alternative time signatures.

This used to be one of my favourite apps but the absence of a menu button makes it impossible to export - and therefore, useless.

What about 3/4 time? For 4/4 this app ROCKS!

I've downloaded twice on 2 different devices and no menu button on either, emailed twice with no response, music instructor swears by it but his has the menu button. Wth?

So simple, which is what I need because too many features turns "taking a second to jot down an idea" into missing a bus, dead battery and forgetting the chords by the time I chose what keyboard sound and drum kit...

Comes in very handy for practicing guitar scales over self made progressions. And trying out sounds of chords. The only reason why I did not rate it five stars is that I could not find any 3/4 patterns yet.

Was able to use Lite version but now no capability to construct new songs i.e. no menu capability

Now I'm jamming and composing. Using Reaper to separate midi tracks.

Great app, purchased this some time ago and love it. . . Only problem is I now can't find the menu button on the Galaxy S5, so it's fairly useless now. Shame

Blindingly good as a songwriting tool and for fleshing out the sound behind the lyrics. Love it! :)

A great musical sketchpad for jotting down song ideas while they're still fresh in your mind. Well worth the cost.

Was great.... But now it automatically logs me out! I can't upload or download songs. Maybe because the re-factory set has left my "activate phone" icon perpetually on? I am no longer connected to a mobile service. I'm just using wifi on my mobile phone. I enjoy making songs on this app. I am the LazyPianoMan

I like this app, it's easy and intuitive to use. It's a bit limited, only 4/4 time signature, for example. Also you can only use one style per song. What really let's this app down is the support. No response to e-mail, and the Facebook page has lots of comments from customers, but nothing from the EasyBand themselves. Dissatisfied and disappointed.

Amazing little app! A bargin, and the abilty to use some sofisticated chords. Grooves are very usable

Please add other time signatures. Especially 3/4 time.

Music App is nicer then most.
