Music Port (Beta) for Android
Freezes all the time. Slow as hell. Changed router etc the problem was Nuvo. While other brand apps take you directly to Spotify this garbage keeps you in the app so you can't use many of Spotify's features. All around a very poor product. Go with Sonos.
Needs an update as continually losing wifi connection
Low reliability, often won't connect to app, and device even slow with in-wall keypads. Needs work and Legrand needs to invest in this better.
Won't connect more than 1/2 the time
Absolutely ridiculous that this company gives us such a crappy interface yet charges such a premium for their devices. As an installer I asked them to revisit their systems interface. Still not happening that's okay I'll just put an iPad in the wall and run Sonos on a multi channel amplifier.
It is outdated. Have you forgotten about your concerto users on Android? This is March 2015, no update since July 2013 and there are bugs. Note 4 is functional but lacking performance, always having connectivity issues and updates like the iPhone and iPad apps. I encourage other Android users to voice your opinion else the business need won't be justified. LeGrand, Nuvo, please bring in a contractor or outsource the work so we can get the features we paid for. Pandora skips songs, Spotify is bad. Help!
I can never connect to the server. I constantly have to uninstall the app and re-download to get it to work. Next home music system I install will be Sonos. Update your app PLEASE!
Please release source code or make a search function, thanks.
Clunky, fails to connect most of the time, poor interface. No updates since 2013 - I guess Legrand thinks it's OK to leave Essentia/Concerto users behind and concentrate on making money out of newer systems. What are we supposed to do - tear the stuff out of the walls? Come on Legrand - buying this is a long-term investment for customers, you aren't earning any loyalty like this - I no longer advocate your products.
won't find my system (MPS4E) and ignores me when I try to input the ip manually. sad really. all the money I paid for this equipment and I can't control it from a smartphone- pretty pathetic in this day and age
Yet the first
Very nice
Nuvo needs to update this app to work with Samsung phones. With as much as you pay for a Nuvo Music Port, it should really have a working control app.
Needs update it doesnt even find the server once ip is entered
It will not find my Nuvo system
It's been almost a yr since this app has been updated. Doesn't stay connected. The iphone version was great, but now I have an android. Please make this app better!!!! It would be great if I could set specific zones like an alarm clock too!!
Not working on Samsung s4
Whilst the interface isn't bad, overall it needs a comprehensive search facility across all of your Nuvo sources to be really useful. Although not mentioned, the app also nicely supports Spotify (requires subscription). I had problems installing it which required me to restart my Nexus 4 before it would completely install. Finally the app doesn't exit/close which is poor.
After connecting to the music server it took about a minute to be able to access my albums, playlists, internet radio stations, favorites, etc. Happens every time I start the app. Would be nice to have the ability to search (by title) and create/save playlists within the app.
Works great. I like the Musicport interface on the nexus 7 tablet better than the one on my iPhone.

Seriously... 3 years since an update? It's unfair that the app for players is updated regularly, but for those of us who sprung for the whole home audio music port system, we are stuck with a rather buggy app. Shocked, should have gone with Sonos
