Nutrition Data PRO for Android
The list of entries is decent though missing a lot of common items. The nutritional breakdown of entries is lacking in important details such as listing total fiber but not distinguishing between soluble and insoluble fiber. While it does list amino acids it offers no point of reference for how complete a protein is. There is no categorization just a general search, so if you're searching a word like, " milk" for example, be prepared to sift through pages of completely unrelated entries like "milk chocolate
Pretty great! Very similar to Self mag's web resource. I chose to buy the pro version. I would love to see an update offering user login settings to include saved food items and lists, while also saving to file or to an app cloud so fresh installs carry my saved foods over.
This is everything I have been looking for, just basic information, easy anf quick to read.
Really useful and informative, without bogging you down with excessive features. Simple and intuitive design. Definitely worth the price, I think.
Search by nutrient type only lists limited foods in database. App slow. Still needs work to be worth any amount of money
Perfect
So useful! So much great information! Easy to use! I love this app!
Love so much of this app, being able to compare two foods for example. However not enough customisation, and the search function is to slow, to limited and keeps crashing phone. If you could improve this it would get 5 stars.
Just what I wanted to sort by potassium etc
It sometimes crashes.
Pro? Lame! Yes it will give foods highest in, but only a very limited number of items on the list. Not expandable and can't do foods lowest in for say, a dialysis diet.
It crashes on Samsung Galaxy S3 when trying to search for food highest in. When it does work, it takes forever. Considering this is the only option that made me purchase the pro version, I am very disappointed, do something about it.
Finally, a nutrition app that doesn't cost $1M because they know a nutrition professional will be using it. Doesn't give you diets or mail plans, just data. Thanks.
My biggest complaint of all my problems with this app is the top nutrient search- its per 100g not per serving so most results are spices which no one could eat 100g of. Waste! Is there a refund botton?
In some places like searching top foods for given micronutrients is super slow causing Android to alert me that the app isn't responding.
crashes on 4.2 galaxy nexus. besides that great app
Missing PRAL values from nutriets and portions for it to be pro. Overall very good looking and coherent.

Good app for superficial analysis. Unfortunately the interface is not developed enough for the app to be fully useful. For instance, if I'm comparing two foods, I'd like to see the result side by side, so empty space should be inserted for the food that doesn't list some nutrients that another food does. Since the app doesn't do that, the comparison isn't side by side but shifted and doesn't allow for easy viewing. Also, having many ingredients the app must have grid lines so I wouldn't have to use the ruler to see the value of an ingredient.
