Nut - GPS Locating. Anti-loss. for Android
device get loud on disconnect, looks like there is an option for this to enable/disable but does not work. very annoying
Always disconnecting. Left pocket - Nut mini and right pocket - phone. I don't think that's too far for Bluetooth. My phone is Xperia Z5 Compact running on android M. Oh, and thanks for draining my battery.
Works reasonably well when it's connected. Have a slight problem with it staying connected to phone
Range is poor and need more settings to customise alert volume. Would be nice to be able to set the duration when the connection is lost as it constantly goes off even when you have it on you but in different pockets .
This app works really well. I couldn't get two nuts to synch, but I can track my keys to anywhere in the house. I will never be late again!
Just doesn't work. Tried everything. It finds them then won't. Bond.
Works well. Battery life good. Locates my keys every time
It's fine! Could be more easily to use also efficient and faster.
I lose stuff way more often then the average person. I tried many of the trackers and this is the only one that's reliable.
This app turns my 2 phones slowly, LG G5 and Xiaomi Redmi note 3
Doesn't work as described
Just got it in and it works perfect so far
Ok. The function just like i want it.

Good job
Too good

Best...
I purchased Nut mini to help locate dog toys that get lost in the woods surrounding my yard. The Find It feature is not at all accurate. It basically let's me know the Nut is somewhere in the vicinity of my home address. Maybe it will help my wife find her car keys??
I am trying to use the app to find something. I thought I would check to see if the device was working by searching for something that I had not lost and knew the location of. So I placed my phone next to my wallet which has a NUTT device attached. So for an hour the APP has been searching and it won't find anything. So, forget it, it does not work full stop. It won't find a thing. Useless.
Not quite what I expected. Tried the Nut 3 after experimenting with the Chipolo. Foolishly I purchased a pack of 4 devices, to provide cover for all my family. All I wanted to be able to do was check on the physical location of checked-in airline baggage whilst travelling. Despite setting up quiet zones these devices alert every time I move to a different room (as I lose my WiFi). I have one device that needs a firmware update (which fails, even with the Nut next to the phone); neither of the bound devices can be deleted from the app ("Delete failed"). I guess all 4 of my devices are of little use to me, so the app may get deleted soon!
It's pretty good
Starting to become useful with the s6 im using. Sometimes still disconnects while being close but rarely... What it needs before i can give more stars or start recommending it: Option to ALWAYS ALARM WITH SOUND!!! When im in vibrate only and someone steals my Wallet i want to hear it on my phone!!!! Make it use the Alarmclock like Audio Volume! Update: just woke me in the middle of the night, despite being in my silent wifi zone.... Twice... Fix this bs!
The rate of successful alert of a disconnected nut is very low and unreliable. While it works sometimes, most other times it alerts my phone when the nut is sitting next to it. On the other hand it skips alerting me completely when the nut has gone out of range. After I realise that the nut is missing and try to locate it on the app at that stage it notifies me that the nut has disconnected, which completely defeats the purpose of the device. The iPhone app works even worse. Not recommended right now.
Not much good for anything. It would take something much more substantial to be a really useful product. The pitch of the nut beep is too high, I can't hear it. Review of this app with the Nut mini on a Galaxy Edge.
After reading negative reviews and then buying the product I have found that people don't read instructions at all. I have setup my tags as I wanted and the tags have been very reliable. If you buy the product read the instructions and you will find as I have the Nuttags wok reliably!
I just reinstalled this in the hope that it would work... It detected one of my six useless nut tags and it alerts so much every time it loses it that it's a complete waste of time. Silent zone usually means no vibration too... It's been vibrating none stop for the last few hours. I give up and am uninstalling again. So far these nut tags have been a complete waste of money because of this really badly though out and poorly implemented app by a company incapable of listening to its customers. I guess they already have our money so why do they care? Buy something else.
Account management is buggy as hell, I did a factory reset on my device and my login was no longer working. the "forgot password" prompt told me my account did no exist, recreated it, validated it by email, tried to reset the password and same "email unregistered" message on an account I created minutes before. Of course my 2 nut mini are registered to an account that does not exist and I cannot pair them. Worst app and product I've ever used so far.
OMG horrible! This app + bluetooth + location all have to be permanently turned on to use the Nut tracker which drains the phone battery in the fastest way possible! Not only the Nut device & its tech is far below average, the app is also very flaky & didn't want to "work" with the Nut device constantly. The Nut itself is also very temperamental but mostly didn't want to connect with the app or freaks out by beeping constantly even if it is very close to the phone, acting like a spoilt teen brat ignoring or pestering you as and when they like! GPS tracking is completely INACCURATE! Zero confidence in finding my things if lost! This is just a very expensive key finder! Grrrr
App is OK, but huge flaw is is that it keeps Bluetooth wakelock on, so your phone never goes into deep sleep. This kills you battery over time. After I uninstalled it, my phone sleep again.
The concept is good but bad execution. The constant bluetooth and gps connection proof to burn too much battery. Similar to an active navigation running all the time. With 3000maH battery, it will discharge about 3 to 4% per hour on standby. These should be correctable by software limiting it's connection time.
This is great peace of mind to know that if I ever lose my important things I can find them whether I've simply lost them in the couch cushions or left them on the bus! However- there needs to be a way to completely turn off the "forgotten item" function- my phone goes off ALL DAY to tell me that I've lost my keys and wallet when they're just on the other side of the shop/house.
I'm glad this has silent mode in WiFi. It used to wake me up on false alarm around 3 to 4 times when I slept. Needs much improvement. The app is sluggish. I have the 3 nut 3s connected to this thing. The range isn't too impressive but it helps when you're traveling. Very much needs improvement.
I'll admit: it has saved more more than once. But the software itself is horrible. First off, it kills your battery: CPU Total: 8 min 31s, Stay Awake: 3sec, GPS: 2m 10s, Mobile data received: 864, Mobile data sent: 1073 total conn time: 9min 51s, Computed power usage: 64 mAh. My second issue is the way it alerts you. If I'm at work, I generally leave my keys/wallet in my desk. Whenever I walk away, whether it is for a meeting or break, my phone will constantly alert me saying it was disconnected. Doesn't seem to be a way around this. The third issue is the most annoying. I get random alerts saying it was disconnected, even though bluetooth is on and it's sitting next to my phone. Happens on a daily basis. The fourth issue is the poorly translated app. And finally... it requires a lot of permissions to run: CAMERA, LOCATION, PHONE, STORAGE, Not sure why camera is required. Makes me wonder if this company is snapping photos and sending it back to their office. I'd recommend avoiding this app and hardware and stick with the name brands. The extra cost is worth it.

It's been one year since I complained about phone battery drain from app location service and nothing changed. PLEASE CAN WE HAVE OPTION IN APP TO TURN OFF LOCATION AND SAVE BATTERY?
