It's curious that the app maintains a "Money" section, but without articles from Postmedia. I suggest that the Money option be removed from the app as it's not being given due care and attention by the administrators. As of today Feb 16 2017, the most recent articles are from Feb 8 and then Feb 4. There are typically only two financial articles posted per week. Also, articles from the Windsor area are frequently just a picture and caption, as are the automotive articles. The app is handy for local news, plus Hollywood and Trump if you're into that, but there's a lot of work to do. LFPress staff, have you noticed your star rating has dropped significantly and is now in the mid-2's?

Once again this app has gone for days without updates! Do the companies that pay you to advertise on this app know that it doesn't work? Does anyone from lfp read these reviews?

EXTREMELY buggy and constant problems with stories not updating, going a week or more with no new articles, says it has refreshed but everything is still a week old. Good to see the Freep has given up on their online customers.

The news doesn't get updated for days, then when it does, it will update one story and the rest of it is the same... Why? Please make this better and up to date

The tile format used on lfp is terrible. Take notes from the BBC news app. Easy to navigate. Less clicks

** edit: news is updating again for now. Funny how this always happens after a new version is released... Even 4 years ago when I was on blackberry, after a new version, it would crash and not load updates for a period of time. I thought somehow they "could have solved this with the android platform, or even just with enough time. I'd really like to give five stars, and would have, if not for the performance, as I do like the app otherwise. Please fix it!

Yep it has news but the hot news on the home screen hasnt updated in months. Old version did the same thing why cant you fix something that is so simple

This app is allright,except that you cant choose local or canada wide. You get what they give you. Not as good as the website that it once was. Same stories over and over.

Easy to use, but it just looks awful. Homepage has articles that get cut off, overlap and are all over the place. Effective in the long run but definitely needs improvement.

I reset my phone and. when i reinstalled the app the font is tiny and hard to read, and changing the size does nothing

Had previous version with no issues. Notified of update today once complete tried to open the app and it just flashes non stop. Really disappointing was working well before. I'm using an Asus TF101 tab. Had to uninstall :-(

Not worth it... Too many can't connects.. just walk to the corner store and buy one... Less hassle!!

You cannot sort by local news, which is the only reason anyone would read the lfp. Dont bother installing
