The Sun is my favorite local paper and always has been. The website however drives me crazy. IT IS SLOW. I have tried 5 or 6 browsers and both wifi and data. Nothing helps. I finally gave up and cancelled my subscription.

Go news on the go

10 stories a month before u have to pay and 90% blab on before actually explaining the news. Just Uninstall and reinstall to avoid paying.

Payment model is flawed and outdated. There are better sources to get your news for free without the issues; like articles that won't load for example. It's unfortunate because I've always preferred the Sun for my printed news. You folks really need to modernize your business model.

Come on. Fix the loading errors. Why am I seeing ads in an app I have to pay monthly for?

Super glitchy and buggy. And they make you pay to get all the articles. Why would anyone pay for such a bad app when the herald and metro apps are free

I have to restart this app over and over again just to read one article. They never fix it and it has been like this since I got it 2 years ago!

Useless!!

I'll continue to check the Sun on my way out of the convenience store/coffee shop in the morning. That's a free life hack. Only the home screen is open, all other sections lead to purchase screen in this app.

Supposed to get 10 free articles monthly. App never resets for a new month. Not worth keeping.

Articles take forever to load, or they don't load at all. More than half of the time, I click to open an article and I get a "cannot connect to data services" pop up with a "synchronization error. Please try again" message. I have to close and reopen each article numerous times before I am able to read it. ALSO, Despite the fact that I apparently don't have a data connection, all of the banner ads seem to show up without fail. Extremely frustrated!!!

It seems like the touch flicking only works near the center of the screen on my Galaxy Nexus. Please fix the app so touch works all over the app.

It worked great and now it doesn't connect. Unistalled and reinstalled 2 times, no luck. Please fix.

Doesn't fully load pictures, and often won't load news articles either. Lots of problems updating the news feed.

The Sun started charging for their online app. One word: UNINSTALL! Every other news app is free.

The older version was much better...upgraded a couple wks ago and it sucks. You hardly get any articles anymore unless you pay to upgrade to the full version ....very unfair, and it constantly just goes blank. Very disapointed Calgary sun. I used to read it every morning, now I will be deleting it.

Like the app but doesnt have the weather or sunshine girl.

Worked for a while but now has completely quit. Can't sign in at all. Have removed it from my S3,

Did the update about a week ago and now it wont load, everything is over a week old which is so frustrating. Herald App now installed:-(

The new Sun+ gives more content and more current content with the new upgrade. Don't like the fact when I turn to a new page I get a "downloading" notification. It is short but still annoying.

Worked great till last update now won't load new news, its all over a week old.

but done well. downloads fast, and looks good.
