Smart Stay +

I installed this app since my tablet came with it. I was surprised to see after only a few hours a screen pops up asking to rate the app AND donate. No other option is given and there was no way to dismiss the pop up. Disliked and disappointed.

Doesn't function properly. When enabled, the screen never shuts off, even if there's no light entering the camera. I could have it in my pocket and then get a text, ane the screen will stay on forever until I sleep the phone. Please fix I'm uninstalling now.

Works fine on HTC 10. Although it seemed first that the face detection was poor, I found soon that the app successfully learns over time. Question to the author: how can the user help the app to learn faster?

Working fine. As usual for all apps that need to stay running when screen off: For Huawei P8 Marshmallow, in settings/advanced/battery manager/protected apps, toggle switch for Smartstay+ to on. Then in settings/advanced/accessibility/services, toggle switch for Smartstay+ to on.

Very good app. I use it for my Asus Zenfone 2. Very stable. Face recognition is good, except in dark place. It will be awesome if developer can combine it with position sensor, so it can still functioning in the dark. Thanks for developing this.

.... When shooting video on my LG V10 after 24 seconds the screen freezes and video stops. Wish there was a way it would disable or turn on night mode while a camera app was active. Or add ability to add tasker task to switch on night mode when camera app activates.

When I was using moto g4 plus this app was working great but now I'm using xiome mi max now it notification singalong doesn't change can you please fix this

Great/useful feature (like what came default on my previous Samsung). It works almost all the time (only sometimes doesn't recognize face under some conditions). Just minor things; I wish that its notification settings is separated for top-corner icon and for the full drop-down paragraph (eg. I just want the icon shown); the screen rotate/lock doesn't quite synch up with that of phone settings.

Good app. I switched from a Note 4 to an LG V20 (Nougat) that doesn't have Smart Stay baked into the OS and this does the job pretty well without issue. I haven't experienced any camera crashes. Jury is still out though as to how much this application impacts battery life.

I have purchased the app but would give 5 stars if it dosent exit on closing n cleaning the ram and if it would auto start with the phone... At the moment i have to manually start it up and its kind of annoying.App Works Well other than the above mention issues...will give 3 stars for now.

I think it slightly lags my phone. But I need to have my display turn off automatically, and smart stay just doesn't work in my car. I think the lag is worth the trade of. I would give 5 stars if my phone wasn't lagging. Also after installing messages kept crashing.

It causes the camera to freeze after 10 seconds of starting recording videos on lg v10. Also it prevents lg v10 light sensor of working properly. It forces torch to close after 10 secs of turning torch on.

Switched from Samsung note7 to LG and miss the face detection on samsung phones. This app fixed the problem!

It was working great now it won't keep my screen lit up. I have a HTC m9 and for some reason my screen won't stay "awake" no matter what. Yes I've gone through and edited the screen timeout and all that. This app is the only thing that has helped and now as of today after having it since Dec maybe even Nov, it stopped keeping my phone awake.

I came from a moto x that has this feature built in. When I switched devices, I was quickly annoyed that the screen would turn off during reading long articles. I found this app and it works seamlessly. This app is a must download for all phones that don't have the feature built in.

Old phone was an LG Optimus and came with kit kat but I got a free upgrade to lollipop and with that I got the eye tracker which is great but new phone is samsung galaxy grand prime and doesn't have that so this works great!

Really works well. I'm used to having Samsung and it has smart stay. I realized that I got better battery making it a 15 second sleep window, unless I'm looking directly at it. I now have the Google Pixel XL and it does not have that option (although, I did live chat with them and they said it was to be included in next update.)

Since the marshmallow update notifications no longer work or give the bed, night, etc options. Back to 5 stars when fixed dev.

Not at all working on Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime. I know it works on other devices; I'll give 5 stars once it starts working on my phone, till then it'll be a star only (for lack of 0 stars)

24th April update: I'll happily donate AFTER this gets an update! BRILLIANT app, works flawlessly. BUT, due to some conflict with Android M's accessibility permission that this app uses, it causes Google Now's voice recognition to fail. Please fix then back to 5 stars!!!

Works as described. The only thing that child be improved its to make it more explicit when bed and night news are active. UPDATE since the marshmallow update notifications no linger give the useful options

After using LG Optimus and LG G2, I just bought a LG V10. For whatever dummy reason I don't know, I just found out LG decided to remove the smart eye feature from it. I was thinking to return the phone. While I was looking for another phone, (Motorola) on Google by chance I saw this application. It works perfect!!! Good job.

Sorry for my bad language..., but I do need to say that this app simple to use and working well on my Asus Padfone PF500KL with no major issued (since I don't use front cam that much). It also running well with "Asus Dynamic Display" mode/setting on the dock station (tablet mode). Well done, keep the good job dev.

I have installed cyanogenmod on my S4, and I lost smart stay option. Now I got it back. Awesome!

It does not work with Coolpad note 3. With other devices, it worked fine. Can you please check Dev?

Very useful and accurate really reliable no more worries about the screen going off the only thing is I can't find how to get the 3 different things you advertise bed and night the other one.

Drained almost 50% of battery in 12h on Nexus 9. Great idea, but can't use on this tablet

It's a copy of the Samsung Galaxy wake feature that detects if you are looking at the phone, the only real difference is that the Galaxy uses, I believe, it's own special sensor for the take, whereas this app simply uses the front facing camera. The issue that I potentially have is the impact on battery performance? If it's just looking for a face in its field of view it's probably relatively simple. If on the other hand it's looking to see if you are actually reading at the screen that could use resources.

Installed this on my T-Mobile LG G4 because I missed this built in function from my G3. But this absolutely does not work. Even some and turns off even when I have great light and am looking directly at the front facing camera. Disappointing.

The display never switches off in my eye sight....

When it works it works well but it doesn't recognise that I am looking at the screen often enough. Only about 25% of the time does it recognise that I am looking at the screen.

It is written in the description of the app that CM11 is not supported
