JustKana - Hiragana & Katakana

Very helpful. I use the quiz section a lot. It has definetly made memorizing hiragana loads easier. Very simple but well laid out app. Highly recommend

It let's you select the group of kana that you want to test, you can skip the ones that you haven't studied. The study part it a bit lacking, such as the writing animation, it's low resolution. But the testing options make up for it.

This app is great. Nice, simple interface, great customization of what you wish to study, and intuitive design. I would certainly recommend this to anyone starting to learn Japanese. This will help you immensely in being able to study on the go, and keeping your mind refreshed on hiragana and katakana.

It's a good flash card test and study aid. It's a lot better than trying to keep track of all my cards and making a new set. It just needs a test where you hear it then select it to be perfect.

it is super effecient to learn kana! And it even has the diagram other apps don't have. I just wish that they can voice the letters while your taking the quiz.

The developers didn't pay much attention to user experience. You have to tap too much for each character. Also, no memory association or aids.

Only thing wrong with this apps is that you don't get the sounds of the hiring or katakana

Simple, direct, love the engouragement with the sound that plays when you get something right! Would highly recommend to beginner kana learners

For strictly beginner this is the best app to start with, the backbone to master the kana in recognising the fonts, to learn to pronounce and to learn how to write. Simple and straightforward.

Great app to learn japanese. The quiz part can help memorize the alphabet. It's fun and easy to use and learn.

You should add an option to set a timer in quiz so we can learn faster and more efficiently. Really enjoy the app!!!!!!

The characters are not written trditionally which confuses my child when compared to what he learns at school

Perfect for learning カナ (kana)。Includes sound, writing practice, basic origin and the quizzes are excellent. Only issue is I got 100% on a quiz when I made one mistake. I got it right second go and it ends up counting it as okay. I guess it's being nice haha. Rewarding dud mistakes? Has a breakdown of the quiz marks at the end.

Great app only downloaded it to refresh up on my hiragana/katakana and it gets the job done wish it had another category for kanji or some simple words or phrases to quiz on too but yeah 5/5 easy to read font, aesthetic, not buggy, and no giant ads popping up or anything :D

I wanted to learn Japanese language since... well, I don't even remember. This app helps a beginner like me to learning Hiragana and Katakana, it also make it easier for me to understand. Nice app!!

This app is OP. I have no regrets of getting this app. The quize is awesome, it's really helpful when you are learning japanese. I use this app 4 times a week so i wont forget the hiragana and katakana alphabet. It would of been more helpful if they added kanji TBH

Nice interface. But it's awkward to switch to the next or previous character. Suggest to also support swiping to the adjacent one. Alternatively, add two arrow buttons, "prev" and "next". Many people learn in a sequential mode.

This app is super amazing! It helps you so good with leaning hiragana, katakana and kanji. You decide when to add new latters into the quiz. I really recommend it. Loving it!

This has everything I've been searching for! I've downloaded so many apps but this is exactly what I need. Perfect if you're learning hiragana and katakana. You can test what you've already learnt to see if you've memorised them properly. Better than the normal flashcards :) Beautiful for beginners
