Taxonomic updates according to A Radical Solution: The Phylogeny of the Nudibranch Family Fionidae
Cella, Carmona, Ekimova, Chichvarkhin, Schepetov & Gosliner, 2016
These updates involve the genus's Trinchesia, Phestilla and Calma being replaced by Tenellia and all species that were under now defunct families Tergipedidae, Calmidae and Eubranchidae are moved to Fionidae.
The species Cuthona nana remains, but relocated under Fionidae.
