Swype Keyboard Trial

This app is #1 in my opinion so much so it almost pisses me off every time I get a new phone I have to immediately download it before I do any settings changes or anything else to it because I'll just get really frustrated with the typing errors I'll have to stop n get it half way thru setting up my phone a otherwise anyways lol. Get this zero the best money I've spent on an still too this day

I've tried Swype and SwiftKey. Swype is simply more accurate. I do like how SK allows you to show an extra panel for numbers, so you don't have to use a long hold every time or toggle screens for a number, and how SW has a key right on the keypad to get to your settings. If Swype could do those things, it'd be perfect. I prefer Swype regardless though.

Swype used to be fantastic but the new version now doesn't allow simultaneous languages. Now you have to toggle between the languages which is a huge pain. Also, the fullstop is way too close to the space bar and constantly activates. It could also use with some user editing such doesn't exist. It used to be a lot better

I think Samsung is in cahoots with the owners of this app. The keyboard on the galaxy S8 is the worst ever. Then there's this nice Swype keyboard that works pretty well that I have to pay for??!! I call shenanigans.

There are a couple issues on Samsung Note 8 (Android 7.1.1). 1. The vibrate on touch does not work. 2. The horizontal keyboard is extending beyond the screen (part of backspace and the 'P' key are inaccessble) when android's navigation bar is unlocked. 3. The hovering keyboard is unavailable for the horizontal position. Swipe is a great idea, but these issues make the application a massive letdown. I'll gladly help with debugging and change to a 5 star rating and buy the pro version as soon as these issues are resolved (hopefully they will get resolved?...).

I would buy this app but there is one serious flaw. For the voice typing it often adds a space before the full stop like this . It also adds a space at the start of new paragraphs. It is a nightmare to go back and correct all these things.

I've had swype for years and it was fantastic! That why I gave it this many stars. Recently I upgraded to a Samsung S8. The swype wienies now charge and the auto-predict absolutely BLOWS! Now that the trial period has expired, I'm switcthing to the "G" version!!!

haven't even tried it yet but g board seems to have gotten incredibly bad at swipe predictions to the point where I'm retyping every word almost WHAT THE HELL GOOGLE I tried every combo of of spell correct and predict config downright unusable swipe on g board

I can't believe that the Trial is so much better than the Full version, and that I didn't find that out until I bought the app.

ALWAYS replaces "u" with "I". Every single time and has caused so many mistakes.

I wish to allow us allocating the emojis button .. I wanto to replace it with the place of the voice key instead of it

No svorak or dvorak keyboard layout. Can't use it without it. Better options are swiftkey, fletsky and Google keyboard.

Best keyboard app if you swipe.

My last phone came with Swype and my new phone didn't..I missed it so much. I tried several keyboards trying to find one as good. I'm so glad to have it back. I love the many pop options on each letter.

Reducing to 4 stars from 5 as I realized that words don't sync properly across my devices and the forums are full of the same complaint, therefore the devs don't give a toss to fix it. Still this remains my keyboard of choice for now because of the gesture to quickly switch between my two most recent languages.

A very nice app, but I've run into a problem. There is an error in a word in the dictionary. The app always inserts that wrong word instead of the correct word. How do you remove a word from the dictionary?

I have use that keyboard for 3 years, but week ago a rebooted my phone and installed it again. I use 3 languages: English, Russian, 한국어. And when I switch Russian and Korean languages, my keyboard make me crazy, couse when I push the button with letter and etc on the screen appears not this letter but letter that locate lower. It's fix only if I change the language to English and back Russian again. What can I do with it?

I only got to use it fo approximatly 8 hours and it said the trial has expired. I didnt get.to even really test it. Tried to get support but to no avail. Unistalling

30 day TRIAL, *AND* have to sign a "I agree to give up my data" disclaimer? Pass. Un-install.

Still no Bulgarian BDS layout. At least state it somewhere that only Bulgarian phonetic is available. After one more year - still no BDS. Nobody states keyboard layouts nowhere.

It changes words after additional words have been typed so you don't even notice it until you send

I love Swype, but the voice to text is lousy - can I use Google voice instead while I'm using this keyboard?

how do I get it to stop putting a space before the punctuation? if I swype from punctuation to space on wechat it keeps doing this !

I love to swype, once you get it down it is so much quicker

This keyboard isn't too bad, I've been looking for an alternative to my previous one so I gave this one a try again. It doesn't support bilingual typing that well, I have to rewrite quite a few words if I change languages midsentence. What really annoys me, though, is having a bunch of Spanish words (a language I did not enable) show up whenever I type in Portuguese. It's making typing that much more of a hassle.

I tried. I tried it for 3-weeks..I've had enough. I'm always hitting the period button and the thing puts fancy words in my sentences. Can't I.have a dumb dictionary.option instead of some elaborate dictionary?

Upgrading my review to 4 stars because you guys fixed the 2 biggest bugs. Also purchasing the premium package to show my support. Will give 5 stars when further upgrades are done more regularly.

Feels like the original Swype keyboard that I loved 5 years ago. Will definitely invest in the full version.

Quick easy

no easy way to accurately delete more content at once like in gboard where you swipe left from backspace. no easy way to move keyboard cursor through swiping over spacebar.very difficult access to % symbol, I gboard I just long tap full stop, here need to press 123 and 12. keyboard characters and especially alternative symbols are extremely small, pretty much impossible to see

Word prediction is ASS. If I don't punctuate the end of a message and then begin manually typing out the next one, the last word I sent is automatically filled in, with the letter I was typing tacked onto the end of it. Every single time. This is a serious issue for sentences beginning with "I" or "A" Also, if I tap somewhere within a sentence to change an incorrect word, the suggestions in the box are completely irrelevant words. Fix the predictive text memory issue and this keyboard would be usable. Without it, it's a pain in the ass and only good for its superior finger tracking.

Edit: The keyboard doesn't show up even when I click the text fields... Totally annoyed. | Though there are only limited themes, limited emojis and limited fonts, the swipe function is perfect. I've been using G_ keyboard and Swi_tkey keyboard, but still choose to use this one instead.

Swype prediction is worse than other apps I've used. I want to pay for the full version, but it also gets rid of the punctuation marks on each key when you add in the number row and doesn't have a lot of customization with regards to how spacing and punctuation or word prediction works. Also there's no shortcut for voice typing and I turn of the button cuz it's in a bad place (by the spacebar)

Anyone know why the recording turns back on after you hit "send?" This has been an embarrassing glitch on more than one occasion. The original version was far better in terms of word spelling, correction, and predictability.
