The following features are available:
CODE SCANNER – available via QR code icon:
With the scan function, you can scan the barcodes and QR codes on consignment documents. You can also enter consignment numbers manually. Business cards with a printed QR code can be scanned simply and the information saved in the device’s contact details.
LOCATION SEARCH:
The app determines your location and indicates the nearest post offices, Postomats and PickPost points. The location search remains available even when your GPS is deactivated.
TRACK & TRACE:
You can scan barcodes on letter mail, international consignments and parcels, and QR codes on receipts from post offices. The consignment number is then entered automatically in the Track & Trace overview. In order to improve the overview, you can add your own text to the numbers of the listed consignments.
HAVE PARCELS COLLECTED FROM YOUR HOME:
With pick@home, the parcel carrier collects your consignment from your home or another address (Swiss Post login required).
PRICES:
Calculate prices for consignments to Switzerland and abroad.
SMS POSTAGE STAMP?:
No stamp at hand? Simply send an SMS containing the word “STAMP” to 414, write the code you receive on the right-hand side of the envelope and you’re done.
COLLECTION NOTE:
Is there a collection note in your letter box? Using the scan function, simply scan the code field on the collection note – then you can select further delivery options.

I am a great fan of post.ch having my account and using their services regularly. The app offers only a small portion of functionalities. I tried to track my parcel shipped last week and it worked.

Cette app est horrible et inutilisable. Peu de fonctionnalités et les seules qu'il y'a sont peu ou pas utiles. Qu'en est il des fonctionnalités propres à l'utilisateur que l'on trouve sur le site web? Statut de nos envois, gestion des envoi manqués... Y'a du travail.

Allerdings stellt der QR Leser den Autofokus der Kamera bei mir nicht auf Makro um, ich kann den Code so nicht scannen. Dass man den Code der Abholungseinladung dann nicht von Hand eingeben kann ist natürlich ein weiteres Minus..

Na ja - wie andere schon kommentiert haben: schnell ist die App wirklich nicht, aber sie funktioniert! Das einzig seltsame bzw. mühsame: sie läuft nur hochkant (d.h. im Portrait-Modus) und erst noch kopfüber d.h. ich muss mein Tablet (Samsung Galaxy Note Pro) dafür immer erst umdrehen und auf den Kopf stellen.

This app does not provide any value to me. Since you can login I assumed you would see the packages on the way to you, schedule second delivery, use the app instead of note for pickup etc. But the login is purely cosmetic and had no use at all.

I do not seem to understand why, every time i try to install the post finance app on my mobile, it tells me the app is not available in my country when I am in Swiss and using a mobile phone with a Swiss sim card. Can anyone be of help

Nice application, but QR Scanner is flipped upside-down in Nexus 5X, making it hardly usable.

It is not very smart to set German by default when the language of the cell phone is not one of these: DE, FR, IT, EN. Either you ask for the language to install, or you install the universal one, and this is definitely not German!!!!!

It sometimes silently fails and reports "Status: open", even for delivered mail and has absolutely no information about where your parcel/letter is. Use the website instead.

Die App hat die Rechte auf Kontakte zuzugreifen. Ich wäre hier vorsichtig. Die Post hat schon früher Adressen an Dritte weiterverkauft.

Scanner doesn't work App does not remember you manual password type every time This app could be excellent but it is sub par and mostly redirects you to the website which is not the point of an app .... PLEASE make this app better as it could really make my life simpler!! :)
