Count It!
Have you ever been in the position wanting to count something, but not having anything to write down what you are counting or it is too much to remember until you find anything to write down what you have experienced. You might want to count different type of cars, birds, plants, nationalities or things you have at home (e.g. coins). You name it, the list is infinite. To successfully master such or similar situations Count It! is the right application to have.
Count It! enables you to count and store the number of items to be found for the most different areas. E.g. different cars, birds, mammals, type of people, words in a text, number/type of tickets, number of different type of voters etc, thereby avoiding the hassle having to use pen and paper or other cumbersome equipment. The result can be saved any time - as per identifier - and may also be retrieved should any 'counting task' have to be continued. Any temporary/final result can also be emailed to a recipient of your choice at any time, which means an immediate connection between collector and the client is always at hand, something of utmost importance for mission critical data collection tasks. You may flick through relevant incidents with a 'Next' button. (fuzzy search). A 'Reset' button erases (initialises) the visible content. You may also 'clone' an existing incident (or creating a new instance of said incident) by specifying a new incident id at the top and then press the 'Save' button
The first form is the entry form for displaying and maintaining Item specific counting information. An identifier (name of user, project, purpose, etc.), an incident id describing the elements to be specified/counted as well as a password have to be specified. The password is the same for all identifiers and can only be set once. If you want to refrain from having to use a password, NEVER store one as you can never delete it. Once a password has been stored, you are stuck with it.
Any information/incident you are collecting or already have stored may also be presented as a chart by pressing the ‘Charts’ button.
You may also compare two incidents by first choose which incidents are to compare and then press the 'Charts' button. Comparing two incidents is only meaningful if the items are the same.
A ‘Support’ form is also available, where you ask questions, propose enhancements, report bugs or give general feedback regarding the application. Any reply will be through the email address having been specified. Through this form you may also directly sign up to the Dropbox application."
