L’HISTOIRE DU JOURNAL LIBERTE :
Liberté est un quotidien national d’information d’expression française. Il est édité par la SARL SAEC Liberté. Il a été créé par trois associés, trois journalistes professionnels : Ahmed FATTANI, Hacène OUANDJALI et Ali Ouafek, et l’homme d’affaires Issad REBRAB. Cette création est intervenue dans le contexte politique d’après-octobre 1988 où foisonnaient des idées et des forces démocratiques face à un mouvement intégriste conquérant déjà et menaçant.
Deux jours après sa création, le président en exercice, Mohamed Boudiaf, l’un de la révolution du 1er Novembre, a été assassiné à Annaba.
C'est-à-dire que l’instabilité était à son summum et que les manœuvres et les manipulations battaient leur plein.
LIBERTE qui porte la devise : « le droit de savoir le devoir d’informer » est venu occuper un espace médiatique et renforcer la presse indépendante qui, outre sa mission d’information, défend les principes de démocratie, de justice et les idéaux de liberté et de presse.
Depuis, le journal occupe l’une des premières places de la presse nationale tant le tirage que pour la pertinence et la crédibilité de ses écrits.
Comme les autres titres, LIBERTE a payé un lourd tribut pour la liberté d’expression.

HISTORY JOURNAL OF FREEDOM:
Freedom of information is a national French-language daily. It is published by SARL SAEC Liberty. It was founded by three partners, three professional journalists Fattani Ahmed, Ali and Hacène OUANDJALI Ouafek and businessman Issad REBRAB. This creation has occurred in the political context from October 1988 where abounded ideas and democratic forces against a conqueror and already threatening fundamentalist movement.
Two days after its creation, the president, Mohamed Boudiaf, one of the revolution of November 1st, was assassinated in Annaba.
That is to say that instability was at its peak and that the maneuvers and manipulations were in full swing.
FREEDOM with the motto: "The right to know the duty to inform" came to occupy media space and strengthen the independent press, in addition to its mission of information, promotes the principles of democracy, justice and the ideals of freedom and press.
Since then, the newspaper occupies one of the first places in the national press as the draw for the relevance and credibility of his writings.
Like other securities, FREEDOM has paid a heavy price for freedom of expression.
