Best Biking Roads for Android
Excellent app that constantly improves. Engaged developer that responds promptly.
Few things i see wrong. 1 You cant seem to open the routes im google maps . 2 .ratings of the app dont seem to be accurate on other users experience . 3 you cant save a route you like. Only spent 10 mins on this. has potential but not ideal bikers app due to this
This is a great app to explore roads and routes worldwide recommended by other motorcyclists. Rather than use boring straight motorways or freeways, why not explore some exciting twisty roads!!
Thought this app sounded amazing. Planning a route is easy and great. But I was under the impression it would give you turn by turn navigation. It dosent, and when I see my route on the map it's off... half the trip route is in the ocean... kind of a let down. Fix these flaws and app would be amazing
Google Maps Multi Point Navigation is now available on Android devices at least and soon on IOS. If the app could now be updated to transfer navigation smoothly to Google Maps GPS it would be the best bike route app available. At the moment I am installing the route manually with the multi stop option on my phone but can be time consuming. T
Have used this app to explore around north Carolina tail of the Dragon area. Work great. Save the gpx and open it with osmand for offline travels. Even used it for a 6 week trip to Thailand. Many great routes around the north. I would like to see a record and trim/edit recording function. Maybe some off road bike route Sharing.
A bit of feedback - it would be good if, whilst viewing all routes in map view, you could click on the route you want. Instead, you have to remember the name and find it in the list. (unless I am doing it wrong)
Map would not center to my ride. Or adjust to my riding. Map just sat there while I rode of the edge of the route.
Excellent starting point for planning interesting rides. Have used in UK and Europe and would happily recommend. Not perfect but a useful tool.
Lots of routes, asked support about which app to use for opening gpx files, David quickly replied and suggest OsmAnd. Time saving for bikers, wort the money.
Fantastic for any biker looking for new routes.
Fantastic.
You're missing out if you like road motorcycles and don't have this. You should download it and enjoy. I've been riding for almost 30 years.
How can i ride the routes? I download gpx but nothing opens. .. grr .. i want my refund
Can log in on android but can't download gpx files and can't login on chromebook or pc so can't get access to try and download files. PLEASE HELP.
It speaks for it self excellent app. .
I used the website for many years but always found it a bit slow and clunky to load the maps. This android version is excellent. Very stable too. Love it!
All that needs changing is the .gpx files, convert them to .kmz and they will open in Google maps please please please please please do this, then this "good" app will be the best motorcycle app in smartphone history
How can i ride the routes? I download gpx but nothing opens. .. grr .. i want my refund
Very good app. I have done few recommended routes and enjoyed it very much. The app could be more complex. Especially offline storing of routs, as when on road sometimes speed of net is very slow. So waiting for maps to load is painful.
No mid points or end pin
Could be better..but on the whole a very good app
Handy and helpful
Gpx files handy to have
Loving this app.
Shame you can't have saved favourites. Also selecting miles within the about menu doesn't have a tick box on my phone just touch the text and hope.
Hi David. Just purchased this for its potential. I see many others want to be able to follow the routes and Google maps doesn't support this. I have found a free map app on the play store called OsmAnd. It will load gpx files. I think if you could just add the functionality to download the gpx file using your app we could then just open the file directly in OsmAnd. OsmAnd even saves the track for later.
I like the function that is uses Google maps to direct the user to the start of the route, but holy #€£%...once arrived at the start position of the route, Google map never activates via the app...so you can never have google direct you via the chosen route... which defeats the whole point of the app. I tried this on many different routes, and it never worked. Also, the app only directs u to its decided start position, rather than giving the user the option to choose which end of the route to take!
Have found a few new good roads.... so it has been useful.
Ya it finds roads well enough. It needs some route planning tools. What about navigating to those routes. What about Road reviews hovering on the map so I don't have to switch back and forth. Lots of opportunity here.
Exactly what's needed. Thank you.
Good App!
Thanks for Dev feedback. Hopefully you can find some work around for the Google Navigation limitation. Keep up the good work!
Great app. Especially like the ability to stop my ride, search to see what is near me that's worth riding. This way when I take a detour I'm never disappointed. Way to go nice app!
Will be more if we could use Google navigation... Great concept but unfinished until we can navigate directly from the phone...
Great for finding all the best roads.
I used to use this app about two years ago. At that time I was able to search biking roads DIRECTLY on the map. Where is that option? This terribly deceiving :(
I was expecting to download a route and then ride it... With sat nav directions but no. Almost there.
Why do we have to go through a series of lists to finally see the route on the map? I'm guessing most people choose the routes based on looking at them on the map, so it seems ridiculous that viewing a route on a map is the very last of several steps. This offers almost no functionality whatsoever over the website. Bookmark the website and don't waste your money.

First of all. I was aware about the limitations of the browsing and exporting to google maps, so my review is from that point of view. GPX export works fine and is acceptable for me. BBR have really huge and growing database of road records. Even if you're experienced rider you will find something for yourself. I did :-) So the overall content experience is very good from my point of view. I'm aware that content only do not necessary deserve for 5 star review. The 5 star I gave is for awesome support from David who is owner/ developer of this APP. When I installed it few days ago I found irritating issue on my phone preventing from importing GPX files. Every time I had error. I decided write email to creator without really high hopes (experience from other sites/ apps). What was my huge surprise I got answer within 24 hours with apologies and some additional technical questions. After that David tested APP, found issue and fix it next day really. Also he did all the best for support me with some export/ import issues to my map application. The overall experience was great. I felt I think first time that developer really listen and do best to fix problems.
