GoVault

GoVault (beta) is a photo documentation app for businesses and professionals to help keep track of activities happening outside of your office. The goal is to have a clear picture of your business's field activities.

Designed to:

- Eliminate re-tracing your steps at a job site
- Keep you from re-visiting customer sites to replace lost information
- Help prove your story in customer disputes
- Help quote jobs that cover a wide area (neighborhoods, forest land etc...)
- Create a photo journal to review later after a site visit

It does this by:

- Allowing you to take photos with extra information tagged to the photo
- Extra information includes gps location, timestamp, address, notes, tags and the user who tagged the photo
- Uploading all of this information to a central server
- Providing a central website to manage information coming in from your entire team
- Search, sort and export photos from the website to solve disputes or gather information

It's good for:

- Work orders
- Estimates
- Proof of service
- Photo journals of field visits

Current limitations:

The app is brand new and we're asking you to be patient as we add new features!

- Currently you need a cloud account to save your photos to. We provide one as a free trial and plan to have a fully local version which you can use completely without the web. We would love your feedback on that. https://govault.co is where you can create your cloud account.

- The UI is currently focused on a quick photo taking and uploading experience. We will be adding more mapping related and sharing features.

- Under heavy use, the app can drain your battery because of the GPS radio, the photos and the wireless radio power needed to upload everything. We're working to make it more efficient.
