PlusFive Slashdot Reader for Android
You've got a 'bug up your sleeve," or what, for the followers on cellphones. We're another "audience, " I enjoy having this icon on my Android. I'm not giving up on you, "so. just ' keep kick'n booty"(just keep hanging around).You've. got an Android audience, following and enjoy reading the new's articles and information.
Won't run whatsoever on any of my devices as of a few days ago.
Looks well and scales nicely. Would be nice if it showed the usernames of comment submissions. Also the input dialogue box was only 1.5 lines when typing a comment which was a bit awkward. I'm also having strange input issues which also happens on the Slashdot mobile site, text deleted as I add new text and random case changes etc. Very odd. But generally this is the best mobile way to interact with Slashdot on android.
Back to being the best Slashdot app on the Play store. Less 1-star for lack of change log, and lack of comment user-names.
Would love to see offline caching implemented for reading on the subway (or in the wilderness!?!) Also, crashes whenever I try to post.
Tiny fonts. Not adjustable. No offline caching. Tiny fonts. No night mode. Awkward side list. Have I mentioned tiny fonts?
Last few days app has been crashing on start-up, can't even send crash report. When it was working it truncated comments, and wouldn't show username of author. Decent app otherwise.
The app description says slashdot on mobile web is bad, but it really isn't. Not sure why some people comments are truncated. I think I keep using it just because it's an icon in my news apps folder and I doubt think to go to chrome
It chops the comments, and this is down to the app, as others has the full comments. It became unreadable. Nor did posting work. Used to be a better app.
3 stars because it works great. Would prefer a paid version rather than see (and have to wait for) the ads pop up. I hate ads. The extra 2 if a paid version is provided. Did I mention I hate ads? And am I blind, or is it not possible to see the author of the comments?

This is the only Slashdot app that requires any permissions beyond Internet access: Wi-Fi, device ID
Great /. app, but crashes constantly. Five stars when fixed & comment user-names are added.
I did have a crash problem but the author fixed it quickly. Now it's by far the best /. app on Android. I wish Google would offer services to the author's country so he could do a paid version.
It crashes quite often when you click an article! Also fails to load comments about a third of the time. When it does work, however, it comes close to the /. site itself for looks and functionality. I wish there were a better app.
Darn! I really like this format and features but it crashes constantly.
With latest version, NPE@SlasdotContent:259 all the time. Unusable. Shame!
Great /. app, last star reserved for comments user names.
App feels closest to Slashdot. I second the signing issue I imagine it will be fixed
Can't install the latest update - says package file not signed correctly Subject says all
Was wonderful, but now crashes on startup... I really like the format but if it crashes every single time it has to go!

Layout is great. There is no limit to stories you can scroll through, like some other slashdot apps. The only thing I wish for at the moment is a way to quickly jump back to the top.
The app looks good. Many of the longer posts are cut off. Otherwise would still be using.
surprised this has not garnered more attention. fantastic ui for tablets. displays the best part of Slashdot (the comments) in its native theme. indentation and everything. just add the non sequitur quote on the bottom and its perfect
