About AmbiTemp
AmbiTemp is an elegant app to measure and record the ambient temperature by using the wireless ANT+ sensor like Garmin Tempe™. It will give you insight into temperature trends during any outdoor activity like hiking, running, mountaineering, skiing, or even just spending time at the beach.

Too bugy this version. Some graphic glitches appear. Sound temp. warning doesn't function at all, refresh intervals very often asleep. So small and simple app and yet it seems so complicated to make work properly. No widget. Dissapointed.

Has the makings of an useful app, but must agree with the previous reviewer too many bugs at the moment. It does read from the Tempe sensor and does display the temperature accurately. However, does not read in the background at predetermined intervals and does not display the temperature in the status bar. Maybe with a bit of work it could be a very useful app, but at the moment it does not provide any more than the free version.

3 stars only due to the background updates not really working well. Once the sensor out of range, this app doesn't try to reconnect again with the Garmin Tempe sensor. You've to manually press the app refresh button to get it connected again. Or else it could have been 5 stars. Fix needed for this, urgently!

Doesn't open on schedule or stay up with status bar settings. Closes in the background. But otherwise does what it should. Just not a reliable thermometer with the Tempe. Would also be nice to geotag temp readings too.

Any thoughts on adding an alert/alarm when it hits a desired temperature? Say you want to know when it hits 90*, when it does, you'll be alerted.

The whole reason I paid was for the background updates, which work inconsistently. In addition, if the phone is out of range of thermometer for one update, it gives up and never tries again. Otherwise, a sharp app... just wish it worked as advertised. (SAMSUNG S5, GARMIN TEMPE)
