About Linked Volume Control

This is a simple app that allows you to adjust the Ringer and Notification volumes with one slider.
Samsung and Motorola (maybe others) decided to split the Ringtone and Notification volumes on their current OS versions (4.0.x - 5.0.x). This makes it difficult to easily adjust them both without diving into the settings app, getting into the volume section and sliding them both where you want. This app will display a dialog that will allow you to easily set both of those volumes at the same time.
---
Note: It will only use the physical volume buttons to set both volume levels when the app is being displayed. This is not meant to be a global volume replacement, only a quick way to set both volumes at once.

What are users saying about Linked Volume Control

X70%
by X####:

I hold the phone with my right hand in a S7 cover which makes accessing the volume buttons impractical. I regularly adjust the volume; this app solves the problem!

F70%
by F####:

Why can't you guys go ahead and develop the entire market. At least maybe then more of these apps will work. I swear, they say tested, but just because it works once doesn't make it viable.

V70%
by V####:

Does exactly as advertised. This fixed my volume problem when my phone went to kit kat

I70%
by I####:

Adjust both ringer and text volumes in 1 step! Just what i wanted. Surprised android ICS doesn't give this option. No suspicious permissions or ads either :)

Z70%
by Z####:

Kinda new it wouldn't from app description but tried anyways .

X70%
by X####:

It only links when you click the app icon, then adjust the volume. You can just as easily touch the Gear icon on the volume popup and do it yourself with less steps.

X70%
by X####:

Not compatible with galaxy s6

G70%
by G####:

Works but doesn't work outside the app...if I use the volume buttons it changes ring volume not ring/notification. I don't want to have to open it every time to link volume

X70%
by X####:

It does what it says but it's not exactly what I am looking for but it works and does its job.

X70%
by X####:

Finally an app that keeps my volumes where I want them. Thank you.

X70%
by X####:

Not working for me. But I love the simplicity.

J70%
by J####:

Great and simple! Don't change anything. Would however like to have it added to my notification pulldown so I can do all my adjustment in one place.

Q70%

Super

M70%

But my suggestion is this: instead of changing it, folks, copy all the same software and coding into a new app, and give that one the ability to run in the background. Then, I tell you, Google will wish they'd thought of it.

K70%
by K####:

No permissions needed. Always works. Free. No ads... Perfect! I'll give it six stars when it autohides after a second, or I can close it just by tapping elsewhere on the screen. :-)

F70%
by F####:

Use back button to close? Nope?

K70%
by K####:

Simple linked volume app. A widget might be useful, but it's a good simple app.

Could be more functional! Make it hide on outside tap. Maybe somehow make it work with volume keys?

T70%

Please, add the ability to auto hide after a couple of seconds.

No permissions needed. Always works. Free. No ads... Perfect!

This is a life saver great app, if you could add an option to assign the volume keys to this application it will be ultimate. Thanks for the effort, and for this beautiful app.

Since upgrading to ics I noticed the ring and notification volume aren't linked anymore like in gingerbread so this app fixes that issue perfectly for now

M70%

Nice workaround until they fix ICS (hopefully) Only 4 stars because it doesn't quite work 100% of the time for me.
