Coffee Time for Android Wear for Android
No issues works fast even if the real Starbucks makes a wear version I'll still use this
Sometimes the coffee time command loads Google directions, but so far has scanned more reliably than my phone!
It would be great if the warchapp would turn if I flick my weist (so its upside down)… i always have to twist my arm for paying.. Thats kinda uncool hahah
It's a vital app for me as I'm an avid coffee drinker and Android Wear user.
Works well and is relatively easy to set up when you only have one watch. Unfortunately, trying to set it up with two watches is a bit of a nightmare. App doesn't reliably push the card number to both watches and even when you do get it set up (note: I have no trick for this, it's just keep trying until it automagically works) flying-spaghetti-monster forbid you made a typo as that's even harder to fix. Though at the end of the day, the look you get when you pay with your watch does indeed make it all worthwhile - and since Starbucks has forsaken Android Wear users with it's official app I'm grateful this one exists.
The card number slides in and covers some of the 2d barcode so it won't work. Emailed in report.
I have found the fix for it. Change the font size which makes the Barcode to be readable. Which makes the app on the watch usable and worth having. I have yet to use but will change the review as accordingly after trying it out at a Starbucks.
Super simple to get working and works every time. Using a Moto 360.
Can open the app on phone but... Stopped showing up on LGWR.
Worked for a month on my g watch r then after verizon had an update it was down for 4 to 5 days then I got an update on samsung beam services and it works again. Not sure if that was the reason. Love using my watch to pay. People are still at aw....
Zenwatch - The popup that displays the card number covers part of the Barcode like others have reported so not usable yet.
Same as other users complained. The bottom card slide in, from the bottom, and cover the barcode, make it useless. I emailed the developer with no luck.
On my sony smartwatch 3 the pop up with the card number covers the barcode rendering it pointless as it won't scan... But great other than that...
I like the day and date on mine.
Can't use it with me. Samsung Gear S2... What a bummer!!!
On the Asus ZenWatch 2 the bottom card covers most of the barcode due to the last number dropping down to a 2nd row. Emailed developer months ago about it. Used to be one of my favorite apps but still can't use.
Great for Moto 360
Fun way to pay. It also works upside down...very convenient if the scanner is on the same side as your watch arm.
Simple interface, and has worked every time I've tried it. Scans just fine right-side-up or upside-down.
The reactions from Starbucks' employees never get old. Works well.
The number of the card that pops up obscures the actual barcode on the Gear Live, making it useless.
I've been using this great app since November 2014 (:
I use it a lot and love it
Last card number wraps to second line and yellow box covers bottom of bar code. Otherwise, great app...
...Went the barista and some people on the queue when I used this app (London, UK) to pay for my coffee. App like this makes the use of Android Wear really worthy!
will you ever add other functions, like card balance?
Used it at a Starbucks with no issues! Cashiers were completely impressed! Moto 360
Logs in only with a Starbucks card number and doesn't have any other way of loging in, for example email and password or nickname and password
It just works, brilliantly!
Now the bar code doesn't display completely it worked great now I can't use it and I go to starbucks all the time
Doesn't ask for access to you Starbucks account. Just enter the card number and it will send the bar code to the watch.
Does not shield you from confused/curious onlookers though.. ;)
Very pleased with this app, I was initially a little skeptical that the size and resolution of the code on the watch would be sufficient to do the job, but it has scanned every time without fail. Easy as pie to set up, too. Running a Nexus 5, and a G-Watch.
Worked great in nyc, but there's no real check of the card #... So does that mean I can enter and keep trying card #s to see what works for free coffee?
Easy to set up. Works great on a moto 360 with a S5. No complaints.
Have used another version on the Sony Smartwatch 2 so was pleased to find it available for Android Wear even more delighted to discover the watch face. Good job!
Simple, elegant, works every time. You can also launch it in the App menu on your android wear device incase you don't want to look like james bond in the starbucks line
Works in the UK on LG G Watch R.
Always gets attention at Starbucks
