VAL (VoiceAlert) is a mobile application which helps to reduce distracted driving. VAL operates hands free using audio, leaving your hands on the wheel and eyes on the road. VAL notifies you with an audio alert when a new SMS message or GMail is received. VAL can then read to you the subject, sender or the entire message contents. You simply need to speak one of the following words: 'Subject', 'From' or 'Read'.
