Text Editor Plus for Android
Can only open files with a ".txt" suffix. All my plain text files do not follow this windows centric convention. Basically I can't use this editor!
No settings. Difficult to use. Website has no certificate.
Crashed with no recovery options for the text
Update it, because the text did not saved when I edit the text.
It's a nice straightforward text editor, just what I needed.
Just like editing in notepad. Good job!

Dificult for storege

Its ok
Good
starts in weird directory, no shortcuts to device / sd card, no support for text files with diffefent extension eg *. log
simple & useful .. I hope you add doc files to the the type of files it can read.
Really Simple but useful text editor
Four
This is one of only two text editors I found on here that actually work on my android 2,3.6 phone, and this is almost half the size of the other.
Has not annoyed me yet - after nearly a week ! The only questionable thing it does, is to exit to the directory list after a save
Even the adds don't bother me much. Closest I've found to windows notepad. "Good job!" ...thanks
Useless if can save to external SD drive. Interface bare bones. And annoying popup ads.
Accessed network files fine but, leaves non-printable characters in file, that need to be later edited out with Notepad.
Can't get rid of ads.
Good
Good....
I installed this app specifically because the readme said that it could read/write text files "anywhere on the file system". Unfortunately, this claim falls short. It absolutely refuses to save to ANY folder on the external SD card on my Samsung Tab 3 running 4.4.2 KitKat. Uninstalling; will keep looking for a text editor that can write to external SD if there are any.
I'm always looking for a note pad app without too much trappings. This one is nice, clean and modern looking and saves as simple text. One suggestion though.. Could you please provide an option to select a default folder other than the app's built-in home location? And an ad free donate version please. Thanks for a nice app!
This app and QuickEdit are the only two of a dozen or so editors I've tried, that will load large txt files and not be to laggy to work with.
very nice and easy to handle, tried it out in ten minutes. thank you
Doesn't run on Nexus 5.
Just like editing in notepad. Good job!
Simple to use and for making small docs ideal. Clever little app guys!!
It's a nice straightforward text editor, just what I needed.
No access to non-standard extensions (eg. .md)

Doesn't SAVE. No menus. No help. Zip! Samsung S7.
