I love this app but it becomes infuriating when your trying to practice by yourself for a line and it won't stop

It would be nice if the Android version worked like the Iphone version. Functions like pausing and the ability to choose between Tikkun on and off would be great additions.

It installed ok. But after opening, it doesn't play any sound. It says alert 404 and so if my daughter can't hear the tune it is a useless app for her and I will be removing it.

Why do I get 404 Alerts for all downloads in Va'ethanan ? (And can't download any of the audio, but only in Deuteronomy, Va'ethanan? ) Otherwise it's a great app...

The audio for parashat reeh doesn't work!!!!

Although this could be a wonderful app for those preparing to chant from the Torah. I WILL NOT SHUT DOWN ONCE IT IS STARTS! It used to work, now it is broken and I cannot even find it on my list of applications! Outside of that, I'd have given it 5 stars. Sorry, folks, but I can't learn anything unless I can simply hear the same verse over and over again.

Works fantastic. But a minor issue - when scrolling down its too slow. I use Android jelly bean on 2GB ram. So why? But other than this, this app totally rules. What I meant by slow is I have to wait for like 2-5 seconds while scrolling. Everything is perfect and is easy to use. But going to the next Aaliyah or Parshah could have been made better other than coming back.

Great app for anyone who wants to read Torah. Very clear and easy to use. I wish I could hear the trope for only one verse instead of having to hear all of the preceding verses in the alliyah. Also, it would be great to be able to select a word and hear the pronunciation for just that word. But I do love it and use it every day.

Crashes and playback is horrible. Honestly I could probably missed about half a million complaints about this app. Let's start the audio controls are non-existent and it is extremely difficult to not be able to pause and start to the play the audio from a specific place there is really no excuse for not having this. Also in any other orientation except portrait the app crashes immediately. Also sometimes the app does not even save the all the recordings so when I launch the app it does to reload the audio.

Wont stop once it starts

This really helped prepare me for my bar mitzvah and when I had an aliyah on Rosh Hashanah.

Doesn't work with Android. Cannot switch to tikun. I downloaded one parsha audio and now it shows a 404 error message and will not play and there is no way to RE_install it.

Words are highlighted with audio, very useful. Easy to read and follow. Well done!

I keep getting error 404 then can't get audio! Help i can't get sound for devarim!! What do I do? I uninstalled and reinstalled still doesn't work! On audio that does work it keeps startibg over from the first verse. I have to tap the correct verse several times to get it to chant that. Also only reads whole pasuk and not each individual word. Recording nt clear either. The rabbi has this app on iphone and it works well. Maybe its an android problem?? Those that liked it, what kind of phone do you have??

Love the app. I am using it to teach my daughter her maftir. Only issue is the audio for her Torah Portion is not working. Hopefully there will be an update to Re'eh

Great app for accessing parsha with translation, pasuk by pasuk, aliyah by aliyah. I don't use the chanting function so can't comment on that, but it would be nice for app to retain the translation setting (yes or no) so I don't have to select it every usage.

When I first downloaded this app, it worked wonderfully. Now, every week, when I try to study the Torah portion it reads error, and I can't get it to chant the portion.

Just needs to quit closing with screen rotation

Great app for Trope & Hebrew sight reading!

Using with Android and Samsung Galaxy S2 with Android version 4.1.2. My first issue may be the cause of other problems, I don't know. When I downloaded, it gave an error message of Alert 404, so I don't know yet what this means. So, I experienced an inability to find any audio controls to stop or pause the chanting, the chanting started and ended randomly and did not match the highlighted words, I could not find the audio files. For the audio files, I looked in voice recordings, music player, internet downloads, and where ever it may be, I could not locate it. I was hoping that somewhere it might be downloaded and have an obvious label such as Emor Aliyah 4; no such luck. I was looking for a quick way to bookmark and found no such feature so I could return to a specific line. I was looking for the Torah version, but could also not locate that anywhere to practice without the vowels, etc. Basically, this seems to be an alpha version. I just wish those who engage in such endeavors would join forces so that instead of having several applications that don't meet all needs, we could have one that actually meets the needs.
