Spam Blocker can help you to protect yourself against unwanted calls and text messages.
- Block unwanted calls and text messages from fraudsters or spammers.
- Block calls and messages by phone mask: [*] – a sequence of any symbols, [-] – any symbol.
- Black and white lists.
- Log of blocked calls and messages.
- United database of fraudsters and spammers numbers is generated by users.
- Automatic blocking by groups using common database (don't use permanent internet connection). There are following groups:
* Default group
* Aggressive advertising
* Debt collection agency
* Fraud, deception
* Harassment calls

For Android 4.4 and later it is necessary to set Spam Blocker as Default SMS app to allow SMS blocking, otherwise only call blocking will work.
This is due to limitation of Android 4.4 and later (http://android-developers.blogspot.ru/2013/10/getting-your-sms-apps-ready-for-kitkat.html).
You can change Default SMS app anytime by using
Settings > More > Default SMS app.
