SpeechCountdownTimer for Android
Good, but can't select more than 23 minutes to count down due to the user interface
Great app, works in background, but does not announce the remaining time when the phone is in sleep mode.
Only goes up to 23 minutes
Doesn't announce time if screen not on. So screen locks by timeout and don't get time remaining audibly.
Exactly what I was looking for, but only in theory. While it is supposed to announce time remaining on the minute (6 minutes, 5 minutes, 4 minutes, etc), it will skip several minutes randomly. It announces 6 minutes, then silent until 1 minute left! It's silence is unpredictable and unaffected if the phones screen is on or off. This big bug coupled with the ability to only set a max timer of 23 minutes warrants a 2 star review from me.
Good but I want android app that speaks and counts each second like for eg 59,58 to 3,2,1. This helps me to concentrate on breathing exercises while doing workouts. Also one will have a proper idea of workout counts. This only reads out certain seconds.please suggest is there any android app that fulfils the above
Cleanly designed, easy to use speaking countdown timer. While it has limited configurability, simpler is better, as it has most everything I need to keep me honest with myself about how much time I spend on small tasks, and it requires just one high risk permission (Internet). (I'd pay to remove the ads and that permission.) More features would probably have detracted - I'd have end up distracted, wasting time over-configuring the timer rather than using it. Great!
Works well. Useful for speeches. Could be more useful with background colour changes.
I really like this app and it works perfectly on all my devices!

The concept is great and I was hoping this would help me with my ADHD in transitioning, but it needs permissions to keep my phone on because when it goes to sleep the timer remains silent.
