Beacons Scanner

This app scans and shows details of every beacon (iBeacon and Eddystone) in your range.

We developed this app to detect BLE beacons and based on the RSSI value that they transmit we can calculate the distance from our device to the beacon. We use some techniques to smooth the signal and therefore get a more accurate distance.

The idea of this app is to share our work and try to get some feedback from you so that we can improve our algorithms.

This app allows saving and sending log files. This information is crucial for improving our algorithms so that we can get a more accurate distance between the mobile device and the beacon.
So, if you could help us by sending us some log files it would be great .

This app requires Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE or Bluetooth 4.0) and therefore requires Android 4.3 or above.
