Sleep Cycle alarm clock for Android
Not working welll with Galaxy S8+. It's motion sensor is way to sensitive and always showing me awake all night with a nearly solid line on top of the graph. No way to adjust motion sensitivity. Worked great on my Note 4. Even put the phone on other side of the bed. When I run the test is doesn't stop making noise. If I put the phone on the dresser is stops and will show no movement. PLEASE fix.
I like that it tracks my sleep and tried to wake me when I'm most awake, I don't notice any ads, and it does what it data it will do. I'm not a fan that it sometimes walled me when I'm coming out of a wakeful time and going back into a deeper sleep and sometimes even asked me in the deepest part of a sleep cycle, but it asked me when I'm at the crest of a sleep cycle like 80% of the time So I suppose that's still pretty successful. The alarm doesn't actively do anything to push you into a wakeful state besides the typical audible alarm Itzel do I have to use other apps to slowly increase sound and light before my wakeup time. Overall this app does wake me up when I'm close to awake most of the time So I'm pretty happy about it.
I bought this app for $0.99 back when it was newer and for the ninety nine cents i got all the premium features, but now even with the order number for my Google play receipt it will not allow me to have my premium back. Im feeling ripped off because now the app is free but then there is a monthly payment for premium.
I really didn't take the time to understand the original intent of this app until the first morning it woke me up. I've been aware of sleep cycles for some time now, but was interested to have some insight into the quality of my sleep because I've always had a very hard time waking up. The first morning, and every morning after that have been the easiest waking up I've had in a long time! Might even consider purchasing.
Weirdly, it changed the times after i set it. So I went to bed at 11, wanted to be up by 7, set a back up alarm for 7:15. Back up alarm woke me up, looked at app and it said I went to bed at 10 not 11, I woke up at 6:15 not 7:15, and that I wanted to wake up by 8(!?) So it moved some times backwards and some forwards! Very odd! Interesting to see the sleep patterns tho. Won't be trusting it as an alarm!
I wish the app would take the data and analyze it. On the trends tab, it provides data that's sort of interesting. Sleep quality by days of the week is a good start, but it would be great if I could also see things like sleep quality by bedtime and waketime, etc. I'd also like to see the alarm be just a little smarter. For example, often I'll reach an almost-awake state just before I reach the 30-minute window, and then start to fall asleep again just before it goes off. So many of my sleep charts have me bring basically awake, and then the line begins to fall just before the alarm goes off. The alarm should see that and make an intelligent decision.
Mainline release does not use microphone (as it does on iOS), which is a big limitation in my opinion. However, the feature is apparently in alpha/beta at present. I assume due to the variety of hardware options out there. 10/10 for support getting back so quick.
Wake up so well using this app. I've tried many others - and spent a lot of money in the process - but this app has continued to be the best. For the results, it's absolutely worth paying for the app. Honestly, I don't much care for reviewing my sleep tracking - I only care that it tracks me so well that it consistently wakes me at my lightest sleep and I wake up alert and ready to go. My only mission - to find a product as good as this one where I don't have to have my phone close by or charging every night. If you guys could do that - I'll be yours forever.
I sleep an average of 6 hours on the weekdays due to school and on the weekends I sleep an average of 10 hours. I don't set an alarm on the weekends so whenever I wake up, I stop the movement recording. However, I see that it stops recording after 6-7 hours in bed and then labels it as "short nap" with no calculation of the sleep quality or time in bed; it just shows the graphs. I've tried wiping my data and reinstalling the app but this always ends up happening, even with the updates. I hope you can address the root of the problem and fix it.
Good app that has worked well in the past, but the lack of a microphone option is quite frustrating. Having to put your phone under your pillow every time you go to bed is annoying and makes me worry I might damage it in my sleep. The iOS version has had the microphone option for at least a year now, what's the hold up? I also feel the yearly subscription is overpriced for what it is and that you should instead opt for a one off premium purchase instead.
The alarm works well. It pleasantly woke me up by the time I asked it to. I was not angered when I woke up, as I usually am by my jarring alarm clock. My only complaint is that it wished it vibrated. I often sleep through my alarm. The app does sense when you're lightly sleeping however.
I love what the app does. Everything about it has helped me get a better sleep higiene. However i am a little nervous about how much the phone heated inside the bed. And I experienced a rise in random crashes and reboots during the day when using it. Not sure if due to the OS update at the time or this app. Cant really tell. Will give it another try.
Had this app for almost 2 years when it kept crashing every time I opened. I had to uninstall and reinstall to get it to work again, but I lost all my data. Now I have to start all over again....
So far it seems accurate. I'm a bit concerned whether or not it also picks up movements from my GF next to me, comprising the accuracy. I'm using it without a fitband. But I like it, wake up is nice and the app is easy to use
Used the app for years and more recently the beta. Much prefer paying outright for an app but I guess sales for the devs would say differently. If you can justify the hefty yearly subscription for the unlocked features then it's a great app. Unfortunately, I can't justify it.
Only used this a couple of nights but I really like it. Such a nice way to wake up! Less annoying than wearing a wristband for tracking on these hot nights. I wasn't sure it would work with my mattress but it seems very accurate.
Was a really good app, worked well until I got a new phone. My old phone was a Samsung s5 and my new phone is a xiaomi redmi note 3. It simply does not work on this phone, either doesn't pick up any movement or picks up too much. Also the last couple nights it has randomly stopped during the night and failed to sound at all. I also paid for premium on my old phone and have no idea how to get it back
Possible bug: Nexus 6P: alarm goes off at full volume, even if you've set it to be low volume in android. Great app and never fails to amaze how it gets it right. Only gripe is the above, doesn't so much wake me up gently when I should be, as blares music at me a foot from the pillow.
It used to be really good. It still is but now they made it too much of a money grab. You can't even put custom trends in anymore. The best sounds are locked too. They really blew it with this new subscription model.
I used this app to track my sleeping patterns and for the alarm features a while ago and I'm coming back to it. Personally, I did not feel any of the positive effects from my previous use. Giving it another shot. I got a fitness band with an alarm feature, the vibrating band has worked better for me personally. If there was a way to sinchronize this apps alarms to the fitness band then... Hmmmmm......
Really great App!! Works very well for me; I have more energy through out my days. I highly recommend this application.
Have been a long time subscribe. But v annoyed that the charging policy is not clear. Sounds that used to be free are now premium. But no way to find what this will cost. Should treat customers with more respect.
Super useful. I would love a section that would let you choose different preprogrammed sleep cycles for productivity, deep dreaming, working night shifts. Everything works great!
Really like the app but I hate the fact that android is so behind on updates compared to ios?! Sound detection is still not available on android while it has been available on ios almost since the start?! Same thing goes for snore detection! (It s a bit annoying that I have to sleep with my ipad on my nightstand now
The app works perfectly. I have used it a couple of times and I always wake up without feeling sleepy. But the main drawback of this app is that it takes up too much battery life of my cell phone.
The app shows some made up sleep cycles even when i leave it on the night stand. The alarm never goes off. Fake.
I was finding this to be a useful app until the last update - now l get no record of sleep patterns & the alarm doesn't go off. Not happy.
Running a scheme. This app is not "free." After trial period I was charged a $30 "yearly" subscription fee through my Google account. Two weeks later I get a message in the app that my subscription has expired. Account recovery requires a promotional code sent to email. I archive all Mail and after several searches found my purchase through google, but not promotion code. Left with option of forking over another fee. No thanks. I don't need to pay another $30 for what is essentially an alarm clock.
Very useful app & really working - for the first time in my life I find it's a lot easier to wake up in abnormally good morning mood, even after only few hours of sleep!! Thank you!
Great app and really does track my sleep well. Also their customer service and support is spot on. I had an issue when I got a new phone and that took care of it right away. Highly recommend
I've been having many sleep challenges lately, however this app seems to be a great start to solving the problem. Also, the melodies are amazing and very peaceful.
The snooze feature sometimes doesn't work for the 7+ hours night. It just vibrates when I pick the phone up or shake it.
Was hoping to get all the same features on my s7 edge phone as apple users do like snoring monitor etc when signing up to the paid version but it lacked all the great features the apple users get with the same app so i cancelled my subscription.
Music is too calm to actually wake me up when I need it to. It wakes me up but puts me right back to sleep, and that's all I need the app for.
Had this app on my iPhone and absolutely loved it. However, I now have it on my android and it lacks the finishing touches that the iPhone version had. Very disappointing.
Great alarm clock app. Has replaced all my other alarms, and helped me identify bad bed time habits that effect my sleep.
Fabulous, guys! Very impressed. I love that it tracks my sleeping habits, record the time, and wakes me up when im most awake. I also love how you can see your sleeping habbits from a weekly perspective. This is very helpful and i would definitely recommend for someone to check it out.
Although I use it every night, I can one only give it 3 stars as the Android version needs to be on the bed. The apple version allows for it to be on the nightstand and uses the microphone. They were working on it for Android but that was years ago.
As someone who typically snoozes her alarm a bunch of times every morning, this app has made a huge difference to how I wake up in the mornings. And I haven't snoozed an alarm since I downloaded it!

Incredible app but iOS version is far superior with the mic sensor feature. I was an early premium user for this app on iOS, after using it every single night for years, I switched to an Android. I have been so thrown off ever since because the android app doesn't have the microphone sensor feature. I've even searched high and low for another app thst functions like the iOS version, after 5+alarm app trials, I'm back to the default alarm app. PLEASE, add the microphone sensor feature in as soon as possible, I want my happy mornings back :(
