I was anticipating little from the app for my local little paper...and this app turned out to be a wonderful newspaper reader! Nothing is perfect, of course, but I love that the PDF (or some equivalent) of the actual paper version is used, making it possible to read and refer to the same, physical version that my wife reads. I love the full downloading of the day's edition for proper offline reading. I love that it jumps smoothly between the image of the paper edition and the text rendered on my tablet for easy reading. I love that it's responsive, quickly moving from page to page and article to article. In short, I'm impressed. As a fundamental layout for reading the paper, I like it better than the Kindle app, the Nook app, the Google Play Newspaper app, and the NYTimes tablet app. I wish I could read the NYT, the Washington Post, and the Boston Globe on an app like this one. Good work, Gazettenet!
