Jiffy - Time tracker for Android
Extremely solid apps in terms of aesthetics and usability. It's nice to have the backup to drive feature. Despite this, the $7 upgrade is relatively pricy with a rather low pay wall.
Feature-rich time tracker with amazingly intuitive and powerful, even though slightly incomplete interface. Also, it's a dead app. Though support may respond (with a major delay), bugs aren't fixed and no features are being added.
I love this app and use it for my time tracking for work and non-working tasks. Unfortunately, the running task no longer shows up in my swipe-down notification bar, which is a HUGE bummer, but I still love the app.
The best I've tried. Has everything except ability to assign projects and customers independently. Many of my tasks, projects, and customers are similar and I'd like to be able to start a task, then choose a customer and/or project (then track by cross referencing these). 5 stars if these features could be added.
Looks great and seems reliable but there are major issues with the balance feature.
One of the best time tracking app if not the best one. Have everything I need and looks very nice.
Love the features! Has tons of them!
Great for logging time at work and useful reminder in the morning :) recommend trying
Too complex. I just need a start, pause and stop
Simple and powerfull idea. No subscription is only one-time payment ☺
Paywall is crazy small. Seems nice, but of no value as-is.
Belissimo
Tried few apps, this does the job. I especially like that time is being continued to be tracked even when phone restarts. (Indeed you cannot change project, but tracking goes on.) Reporting capabilities makes my life very easy, as I need to submit weekly time reports for my work. I'd appreciate a kind of 'multi tenancy' to have separate groups of projects, only of which one is shown on the interface at once. But this is fine anyway.
Would be helpful if there was some kind of help or tutorial on the website as I'm not sure what some things mean or how to find things - various screens aren't where I would expect them to be so I can't remember how to get back to them, so a tutorial would help so I know the logic behind it. I also might not know about various features. As a result it seems good but I can't really tell for sure.
I did review many time tracking apps. This one has the least fiddly UI. You can change tasks, enter previous time entries with the fewest touches. They live up to their name in terms of usability. Well done.
It's not the app I'm looking for. Too complex for what I need. No option to repeat or for cast. But that's not what this app is about it guess. Has potential to be a great app with more fututr planning features. It's hard to use for new users also. YouTube video for newbies recommended
Good idea, but poor support. Actually no support. You're on your own here to figure it out. For a product trying to appeal to a professional audience, the support is abysmal. There are no clear directions on how to use the app. I wanted to use this product, and sent an e-mail to the developers asking some specific questions, no response received.
I have used this app daily for work for a couple of years. I liked it better when "history" wasn't hidden in the menu. There are a few bugs that bring my rating down to a 3 star: 1. Often a new entry gets lost after saving it and I have to re-enter it. This is annoying. 2. Daylight savings weeks never work correctly. 3. Tasks aren't sorted per the setting when adding time. Feature requests: 1. History totals should exclude non-work time 2. Search through history by comment description. 3. More color options.
I am using jiffy for a long period & after that I have rated it as a student where my mgmt is not related to money this app is great however I m getting upset by the UI with the new version the older ui was great & quick. If they make ui better enough I will rate 5 star with close eyes
New version takes 4-5 seconds to react on touch. Older version was much more responsive.
Reminder should have option to remind me on or before start time. Would love option to change default break time to speed things up
It's awesome because the app synchronizes with your other android devices, but other than check your progress on your cell or tablet, it's hard to visualize your progress elsewhere.
I am constantly trying to sync but it's not working. Used Nexus 5 and Samsung S 6. While trying to verify email it message "error registering device"
When I have an idea for an app that I need I usually download 5+ to see which one is the best. This one is a top five all time fav app for me. If you need to track times with a great ui Jiffy does it right.
The devs fix bugs quickly and the app general is excellent!
Stats seem broken, keeps saying infinity. And doesn't show location
Bad experience... it erased all my times
How do i edit time recorded? Still on the learning phase.
Very easy to use and well worth the small cost to upgrade to the paid version.
Thank you for this app. It makes me accountable to myself as an entrepreneur
Long time user.
The app looks very good and is simple to use.
Simple, intuitive, useful! Excellent. for my work
This is good
Excellent App
So easy to use, and really helps me keep track of work time as an entrepreneur. I love that I can set work goals too, and that I can build extra hours to "earn" my upcoming vacation.
This app is just a trial version with a $7 upgrade. It has a history limit of 3 weeks. I'm not sure if that means it stops working in 3 weeks or if it deletes your old data. Either way, with no apparent way to export the data, the app is useless without the rather overpriced upgrade. Trial also limited to 3 projects but that part is reasonable, I think.
I love user interface but It needs more fratures, the basis one is break and pause. I mean countinuing the last seconds. Another one is planning projects in the week. Web servise can be so helpful. It has bug too for example Task under projects can not be timing correctly.
I am pretty sure this app is wonderful but I just don't understand it. And I am tech savvy. But I just can't seem to fraps the understanding of the project and customer prioritization method. I've tried putting two customers under one project but can't seem to figure out how to achieve this. There also isn't a help option on the app nor the website. I gave it 3 stars because I'm giving it the benefit of a doubt. Someone please explain this to me...

I gave it one star originally as just three projects is too few, however, the developer responded and let me know there are unlimited tasks, which is great. Thanks for taking your time to respond and for the information. One things that you might take out of this tho is that maybe there is a need for a more detailed tutorial, as it is not clear there are also tasks beside projects. Will give 5 stars anyway to compensate for that 1 before)
