After purchasing the original Cubase 7 tutorial by Matt T Heppel whatever his name is I was looking forward to seeing how the various Cubase 7 features could be used. This has little to do with Cubase 7, infact they use the harmony feature in Cubase 7 and then record the vocal harmonies live and practically removing the hard work Cubase does. This is simply a guy multitracking to extreme for the sake of it. He records the snare track for example like 8 times just to get a better sound rather than showing how to manipulate the original sound. Unless I receive a full refund I will never buy another AskVideo again. I should have realised at the start when the back drop is an un-ironed bed sheet. This video should be free removed as it can only do the AskVideo reputation harm. Please refund my money in full. The first few tutorials consist of this guy simply moving a snare hit around in an empty track. The overall song is quite neat but you really dont learn anything. I would have loved to see the techniques to record the vocals, the effects, compression and levels and how to get clean vocals. Money back please so I can delete this rubbish.
