PONS Vocabulary Trainer

Import of items doesn't work. When searching for an item to add it to the vocabulary list, the app apparently can't connect to the internet. Otherwise the app is fine, but without being able to import items it's of no use. That's quite a nasty bug.

both login fine, but request to add to Voc from Trans kills Trans app. First trans app says not loggef in ( False ) then complains cannot confirm identity. Lollipop Android. Bug remains after latest update !! Down to a 1 for THAT guys !

It's a good idea. But​ it has many issues to be fixed in the app ( sync with pons translator ) and it SHOULD have the genre (die das der) Displayed in the cards

When I look up a work, I add it to dictionary and later can train on vocabulary trainer. Synchronisation between between PC and phone works great. Just don't understand why they don't combine vocabulary and dictionary app into one. Also when I look up German Italian, I can't add into the Italian German lesson, but only into German Italian lesson.

The App keeps crashing on my Nexus P6, the codes given do not unlock the levels (you always have to contact customer service), and the answers do not allow for small variations. For example if an expression can mean two things, you need to write both, separated by a comma - if you forget to put the comma while still getting the rest correct, it is still wrong. Duolingo points out you forgot the comma, but still marks it as correct.

It would be better to add an option in the settings that able us to change the app's language .

I will give you five stars if you can put Korean to the languages :)

... But it is not. It's not compatible with dictionary. Lessons, which you had created in this app are not found by pons dictionary. I have installed it twice, same problem over and over again.

This is the best app for android I found to note & memorise vocabulary & phrases on the go. I'd give it 5stars if the audio quality was better (more native-speaker-like rather than computerised voice) and if there were any ready lessons for the language I study (portuguese). But it's a great help tool the way it is already. Thanks

Why cannot I search for a word in the Pons dictionary and then add it to the vocabulary and then train those words? I don't understand what the purpose of this app is. I would expect that pons would leverage the availability of its dictionary content. Other apps are much better, because apart from the completely useless feature set, this app's design is abominal. A shame that Pons still doesn't understand digital. And sorry I won't write any more emails to receive generic replies.

Doesn't have lessons for french/english and not very user friendly, it has way too many clicks to do something. For example : to hear a word, there's an audio button, then we can choose if we want to hear it in French (France or Canada), in English (UK or US). First, if the button audio is near the word in French, it should be OBVIOUS that I want to hear the French... Then the accent should be chosen once in the settings and that's all...

A lot of thinks are just not user friendly. Also some pretty annoying bugs.

The APP is extremely unreliable- i often try to copy vocab from the dictionary to the vocab trainer, and it just gives me options for lessons that i dont have! It wont let me copy vocab into my own lessons!!! Very annoying! Why?

The features in the app are OK but synchronization between devices does not work for me.

Techniki nauczania w porównaniu do innych programów słabe lub bez sensu jak np. Zdrapywanka tłumaczenia slowa... cały Plus to integracja ze słownikiem pons. Przykro mi, piszę to bo czekam na nowa wersję tego fajnego pomysłu.

Pretty demotivating

Unfortunately in many of the vocabulary lists there is no der die or das and the plural form is missing. This could be improved.

There is one peoblem. You should add a way to discover if the answer is right or not by one act. It is boring to scratch.

It is a very good idea how to learn new words but most words have more than just one keyword in another language. It would be nice if you could pick any of those. For example appendix can be an organ or an addition, but you can only pick one.

Nice app, using without any crashes but it would be better to review previous words when we wanted to, like Anki. I can't memorize 20 new words in every lesson without repeating them after a while. I think it was called "spaced repeat learning system" or so.

I am loving it, it's perfect to improve my German skills

Note that this app eventually wants you to eventually buy a premium account. But because the language selection is so small, I don't even get there. Looks like you can mostly do learn English based on some other language. And those list of "other" languages is also small.

Ich habe ein Problem mit dem "Matchmaker" Übungsteil. Ich kann leider die Übung nicht richtig machen, weil mir nur falsche Lösungen angezeigt werden und dafür keine anderen Lösungsmöglichkeiten geboten werden, bitte verändern.

This works superbly on my Galaxy S3 - no crashes or other problems, and it synchronizes beautifully with my online Pons account. Am looking forward to sharing it with my German GCSE students.

Definitely the first so complex voc leran app on android, but you can't listen nor practice PRONUNCIATION OF WORDS

- Very good and helpful - Synchronisation works, - Learning groups too tedious to setup, - Crashes frequently one my HTC One S, especially after switching from other Apps, - Store previously selected exercises/games would save a lot of clicks, - While playing not known entries should be moved to the end of the list and not asked immediately again to help memorizing, - There should be multiple learning levels. Normally for memorizing vocabulary there are 5 categories. After a mistake the entry starts again at the first category/level.
