Joshua Tree National Park

This app enables you to get the most out of your visit to the Joshua Tree National Park. It is brought to you in association with the Joshua Tree National Park Association and with collaboration of the National Park Service.

The app includes both an essentials and a nature guide to the park.

The essentials guide describes how to get the most from your visit, whether for just a day or a multiple night camping trip. Favorite destinations in the park are highlighted as well as the park’s history and family friendly activities.

The nature guide describes many of the wildlife and plants you will see during your visit. Outdoor activities available in the park are described along with information about the park’s unique nature and science.

We encourage you to use the citizen science report feature within the app to provide the NPS with up to date information about what you find in the park. This could be a sighting of a Golden Eagle, a Desert Tortoise, or even just a suggestion for how the park can be improved.

The app contains an offline map that allows you to navigate within the park that has no or very spotty cell coverage. The map is the most up to date resource for the park.
