I fail to see how acessing my contacts, my phone number and more importantly, the numbers that I call, have any influence on how my name is converted! Also, why does it need access to my photos and other media and my SD card?

So apparently my name is Shiroho not Shiro just because it has an H on the end...? I don't see how that changes the pronunciation of the name in general in Japanese since the pronunciation is still the same in English regardless of the H or lack there of.

Not bad. Does what it says. Just need to be able to do symbols to exactly the eay the name is spelt. Not go to common spellings.

M70%
by M####:

Would be better if used more than one-syllable kanjis. Kanji can have multiple syllables making better translations. Also found some katakana errors

This is such a cool app. It wasn't very accurate on my name, but my name is strange to begin with

R70%
by R####:

Works well. The kanji feature is interesting for *possible* ideographic versions of a name (not just phonetic).

W70%
by W####:

Does not translate my name correctly. Shaun is: シャーン not ショーン. Sha sound is closer sounding than sho.

R70%

I love the convert to kanji option! Beats having to do it manually, and you can come up with some very interesting "names" :)
