NFJS for Android
The app works great for viewing the conference schedule, but I was disappointed in the flagging feature. I spent some time going through and flagging sessions I was interested in so I could review later. Everything was cleared the next time I opened it.
Previewed session descriptions, and filled out session evals through it. Worked well.
Swipe on session, thinking you'll go to the next day, nope goes to speakers? Randomly loses stars on your sessions. If you open feedback to edit, the 1-5 ratings are remembered, but the open ended ones come back null.
Crashes almost every time I open it
it was helpful to see my agenda for the day, but a bit buggy and no slide decks. I was sad to have to carry an extra iPad around when I had my own android tablet. maybe by next year?
Though I appreciate the simple feature set of the app, it is very temperamental and a bit odd. I question the wisdom behind providing sloppy software to this target audience. Tip: don't let the screen rotate unless you want this app to crash!
90% of the time when I switch back to it after doing something else, I get a message that the app has stopped, and have to relaunch it. The lack of slides (present in the iOS version) means that from the start, the app is less useful.
There is a whole day topic to talk about Android, but it can't even make this app working under Android.
This app crashes almost every time I launch it, and never keeps Track of what I flag or star for my agenda. iOS app FTW.
Getting an access denied toast message when trying to open a conference. I am logged in.
